Repentance And Righteous Living

As we approach the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel’s 70 week prophecy(Dan.9:27), it will become increasing difficult, nonetheless not impossible for believers to live holy and righteous as the world tries to force us into its own mold. Pollutions come to us on a daily bases from the things we see, hear and read, and even those we unwittingly participate in. Like Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah, we are vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked.

“And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)”(2 Peter 2:7-8 KJV).

By unlawful deed is meant that which contradicts divine instructions. Unlawful deeds will abound in the end times. Therefore, it is necessary that we cleanse ourselves with the blood of the Lamb from both known and unknown sins on a daily bases. There are things the unbelievers and the people of the world do that pollute the minds of men that we ought not to hear let alone talk about. But we hear of them and sometimes talk about them. Worst still, we even see them or even unwittingly participate in them. Therefore we have to cleanse ourselves from the these pollutions with the precious blood of the Lamb which is the only agent in all of the whole Universe than can wash away our sins.

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”(1 John 1:5-10 KJV).

At what instances we are polluted by these things, we bow our heads in repentance and confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Evangelism And Soul Winning

Every minute of the day, 106 people die, leave this world and pass on into eternity. What percentage of this number that make Heaven is unknown. Certainly it must be negligible: for broad is the way that leads to eternal damnation, and many there be that find it. But narrow is the way that leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”(Matthew 7:13-14 KJV).

This number and the percentages are variable. We should not concern ourselves with the exact variables; for the secret thrings belong to God(Deut.29:29). Our concern should be to get as many people as possible into eternity in Heaven. Therefore we must commit ourselves to evangelism and soul winning. He that winneth soul is wise. “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”(Proverbs 11:30 KJV). And those that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars for ever and ever(Dan.12:3).

In Heaven rewards await those who win souls. While the door remains open, we must support missions and missionaries and get actively involved in local and lifestyle evangelism as much as we can. By lifestyle evangelism is meant the informal ways by which we engage and confront those we meet as we pursue our daily activities with the message of the Gospel of our salvation unlike planned crusades, citywide outreaches and house-to-house evangelism. Lifestyle evangelism is probably one of the most effective ways by which we spread the Gospel because it is more personal and most times occurs on one-to-one correspondence. We are more likely to disciple those we win to Christ. Most times, they are our colleagues in the office, the mechanic who services our cars or generators, the electrician who repairs our electrical fixtures or the plumber, those we buy from or our customers at the market square, those we meet at the malls or bus stops or meet at the gallery or grandstand while we watch sports etc. Our God is consuming fire(Deut.4:24, 9:3; Heb.12:29). Our God is God of justice; by Him actions are weighed. Knowing the terror of God we persuade.

“Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”(2 Corinthians 5:11 KJV).

Our goal in life should be to be acceptable unto Him whether dead or alive( 2 Cor.5:9).

Considering the risky and precarious nature of life here on Earth and the perpetuity of eternal damnation, we must strive therefore to make Heaven. We must ensure at any moment that whether we live or die we are the Lord’s. We must not be like men of Noah’s day. They helped Noah build the Ark. They helped him to get the animals into the Ark. They earned wages by working on building the Ark and equipping the Ark, but they did not enter into the Ark. They perished in the deluge. It will be disheartening that after we have preached to others and persuaded and assisted them to enter into Heaven, we ourselves are found wanting, and therefore disqualified.

“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”(1 Corinthians 9:24-27 KJV).

As the world deteriorates, and moral decay becomes more and evident, tolerated, and reveled in by the people of the world, things that will instill fear in the heart and mind of the believer will become more frequent in occurrence and even rampant, like wars, epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters like tropical storms, hurricanes, cyclones, earthquakes, flooding, monsoon rains and landslides, tsunamis, terror attacks, accidents, armed robbery, assasinations, and targeted killings etc. To overcome fear the believer must live in the consciousness of His Divine Presence. He has promised to be with us. He says, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. I am with thee always unto the end of the ages(Matt.28:20).

We have defined the end of the ages as the point of transition from this age(Olam Haze) to the age to come(Olam Haba). It is the exact point in the eschatological timeline that God decisively intervenes in human affairs to rescue the righteous who are under siege by the forces of Darkness and to punish the world for its evils. It corresponds with the end of the sixth seal which is associated with cosmic and celestial disturbances and the breaking of the seventh seal.

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand”(Rev. 6:12-17 KJV).

Faith In His Faithfulness

God is faithful by the whom we are called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord(1 Cor.1:9). Faithful is He that calleth this you who also will do it(1 Thess.5:24). When we live in the consciousness of His presence, and have exercised faith and confidence in His faithfulness, we can fearlessly face the outcome, whether life, or death, or imprisonment or torture or starvation or martyrdom like those who have gone ahead of us in the Hall of fame of Faith in Heb.11.

“Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”(Hebrews 11:35-40 KJV).

Nothing can come upon us except that which has past through the security of His unfailing Love(Hebrew: Hesed; Greek: Agape). Nothing can separate us from the Love of God.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”(Romans 8:35-39 KJV).

Therefore, we must be prepared and watchful(Matt.24:42-44). We must be wise and fruitful(Matt.24:45-52). In the parable of the Ten Virgins, our Lord Jesus the Christ urged us to be wise, prepared, and watchful(Matt.25:1-13). In the parable of the Ten Talents, He instructed us to be fruitful(Matt.25:14-30).

Christian Education In The End Times

The mainstay of Christian education in the end times will be to counter the four pillars of humanism. We must affirm that there is God, and that man was created(Gen.1:28). It is the fool that says that there is no God(Ps.14:1). It is the Lord that made us, and not we ourselves(Ps.100:3). We are His people and the sheep of pasture. We must affirm that God requires morals from man, and that God is the standard for morality. Therefore, morality is not relative but absolute. That God rewards obedience and punishes sin and disobedience. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him(Heb.11:6). We must affirm the existence of Heaven for the reward of the righteous and Hell for the punishment of the unrighteous wicked(Matt.25:41).

We must affirm the eternality of the human soul and spirit and the temporality of the human body(Job.19:26), and therefore the resurrection of the just and unjust. That every man is born a sinner. We must affirm total depravity. (Not every believer agrees that man is totally deprave). Total depravity does not mean that man is incapable of any good in and of himself, but rather that he is not as bad as he could be. Indeed, in and of himself, man is capable of much good, but also he could be equally evil. That all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God(Rom.3:23). It is the grace of the Father that draws us to the Son.

“Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”(John 6:43-44 KJV). And that the wages of sin is death, and the gift of God is life of the age to come through our Lord Jesus the Christ(Rom.3:26). We must affirm the Lordship of Jesus and emphasize His divinity but not to the detriment of His humanity(Jon.1:1-3; 1 Tim.2:5). We must affirm that salvation is only in His name; for there is no other name given amongst men whereby we be saved. “This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”(Acts 4:11-12 KJV).

As we advance towards the 70th week of Daniel, secular education will become more and more humanistic in content. At that point and to that extent, believers may find it hard to attend secular institutions, both those owned by the government and some private individuals and organizations. Especially in Nigeria as also in America, believers have done very well in establishing Christian institutions at all levels of education. But these institutions are licensed by the government or governmental accreditation bodies. Take the Nigerian Universities Commission for example. At what point their guidelines infringe on our faith or run counter to our core Judeochristian values, the private Christian Universities may fail to comply. Their license may be revoked. So, some of these Christian Institutions which fail to conform to the standard of the world may have to close. The commission may require universities to admit homosexual, lesbian, and transgender students and employ lecturers with various sexual orientations. These requirements may force these institutions out of business. Christians may have to develop some clandestine ways to educate their children.

At Crèche and primary school levels, parents, especially fultime housewives may have to homeschool their children. Homeschooling is a relevant point that is not much discussed here. It is big in the States and is on-going even up to High School level. Its applicability in other parts of the world, particularly in view of the coming storm clouds is something that needs more airing in the Church as well as in the media. Not all Christian mothers are well educated to handle this aspect of their wards’ life. Some Christian families in a particular area may have to band together to hire Christian teachers to handle their wards in certain subjects at home or some designated location. This sort of arrangement can also be made at the university level also, but it will be more difficult and requires more elaborate and complex logistics. The important thing at this time will be improvisation. We must depend on the Holy Spirit for guidance at this time. Every parent and student must be taught how to be led by the Spirit of God. Children must not be forced to go schools at this time. Parents and students must be made to understand that the time is short. That even if they their wards or themselves do not go to school, it is important that they make Heaven. That the salvation of their souls is far more important than the acquisition of the Golden Fleece.

Believers have uncommon wisdom. And every community of believers have its wisemen. Like the men of Issachar, they have understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do at each point in time(1 Chron.12:32). These men will possesss wisdom from God to organize and educate believers of school age in their communities. The community of believers must recognize and accord them due support, respect and honor to carry out their task. This sort of education will certainly not be as good as what one gets in a full fledged university, but will be better than nothing. Besides, it will keep the students focused for the time being.

When microchipping is introduced by the Big Brother and the believers reject it, a whole new scenario is created. Students will have to be microchipped to write qualifying examinations into higher institutions and to register in these institutions. Those who refuse to be microchipped have voluntarily opted out of the educational system. Without proper prior preparation this will gender a huge crisis in the Christian community. This is why the Church must begin now to make plan for these exigencies. It is a matter of time, the believers will certainly in the future be boycotted by the larger society. We have to begin now to create our own new world to survive the challenges of the boycott at all levels of education. Believers must begin now to study the end times, more so the younger generation.

We must see ourselves as being called and commissioned of God to play certain key and important roles in the end times. And when the occasion arises, we shall rise up to play key and vital roles to cushion the effects and repercussions of totally and outrightly rejecting the world’s system. It is no easy task to totally reject the system of the world while still living in the world at a time when the world is totally against our Judeochristian values. A time will come when the world is totally in opposition to our Judeochristian values. How will the Church as a body of the faithfuls react to this kind of situation? Are we prepared for it? Do we understand the end time scenario? Are we being sensitized to the end time scenario. Do we have answers to the questions that will pop up in the minds of Christian youths and the young converts or even some unbelievers at that time?

Elon Musk has established NeuraLink. This company is working on finding ways to plant neural lace in the brain through neural mesh. The neural lace will act as nanobot in the brain and will be linked to neocortices in the cloud. In this way, the student, now a cyborg will hold an enormous and unimaginable amount of information in his brain. A person so altered is a hybrid human or humanoid. The neocortex in the cloud and the nanobot in the brain are both controlled by algorithms in the net. This is Artificial Intelligence(AI) which no one yet understands, not even those who are at the forefront and cutting-edge of this new and innovative technology.

Let us not think that it will be business as usual. The world is fast deteriorating. Evil men will continue to wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived(2 Tim.3:13) until such a time it becomes impossible for the Church to survive in the system without finding some alternatives to counter the world’s countercurrent and humanistic education.

“But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”(2 Timothy 3:10-17 KJV).

The knowledge of the Scriptures as regards the end times will prepare us to take up the challenges arising from the exigencies of the end times. Through guidance of the Holy Spirit and improvisation, we shall be able to proffer answers to even the most difficult questions of the time. We shall be able to unravel mysteries and dissolve doubts. Things that will pose the most difficult challenges to the faith of the strongest and most spiritual of the saints will occur on a daily basis. If we have not adequately prepared our hearts through the Scriptures, we might find ourselves in such awkward positions that we are not able to offer any meaningful resistance to the opposition of the world nor proffer solutions to the challenges and exigencies of the times. Conformity to the world is enmity with God.

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”(James 4:4 KJV).

Conformity to the world is tantamount to outright rejection of the Lordship of Jesus, and submission to Satanic enticement and inducement which is eternal damnation in Hell fire. We must at no point reach a compromise with the world. To compromise with the world is to be of the world and to reject Christ. Therefore we must reject the world’s humanistic education in its entirety, and proffer and provide our own alternative which must be anchored on our core Judeochristian mores and values.

One very important aspect of Christian education in the end times is the acquisition of skills, more so technical skills. Every believer, especially the younger generation, both boys and girls should learn a trade. We should learn how to build houses, especially makeshift houses, how to make shoes, dresses, soap, home-brewed malt and drinks and beverages, to extract milk from grains etc. Infants who lose their mothers will have to be fed on milk. There may be no other nursing mother around. The survival of such infants may depend on someone’s ability to extract milk from grains like soybeans, tiger nuts, coconuts etc. Creativity and improvisation should be the core of our education. Every Christian should learn how to administer first aid and emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation, treat wounds and splint broken bones. These skills may keep our loved ones alive till a brother or sister who is a health personnel or expert is available. Every believer should learn how to cook. Cooking should no longer be the preserve of the womenfolk. Neither should our sisters and mothers be relegated to the kitchen anymore. Christians should also learn some fighting and defense skills. Therefore physical fitness and health education are paramount. Oriental defense skills like karate, Taekwando, Kung Fu etc are demonically based. We can develop our own martial acts without kowtowing to Oriental gods and goddesses. Karav Maga developed by the Israeli Military may be handy. We may learn how to use small arms for defense especially against wild animals. The exsoldiers amongst us can take up this challenge.

The Christian Family In The End Times

The Christian family should be jealously guarded. Marriage should be between a brother and a sister in the Lord. In other words Christian marriages should be heterosexual and between believers, and sexual intercourse within the bonds of holy matrimony. In contracting Christian marriages, the will of God should be paramount. And that necessitates the leading of the Holy Spirit. A Christian couple should be as compatible as possible. No matter how compatible, the voice of God should prevail. The voice of God is supreme and powerful(Ps.29:3-9). Pastors should be versed and grounded in premarital and marital counseling. Extramarital sexual exposures should be vehemently denounced and exposed, especially where the culprits have not shown signs of obvious repentance. The injured party must be taught and learn to forgive in order to heal. Efforts should be made to prevent premarital sexual exposures as much as possible. Where it has already happened, the couple should be made to realize that there is forgiveness with God, and future occurrence should be avoided at all costs.

“Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.”(Hebrews 13:4 KJV).

The Church as the bastion of morality should stand against homosexualism and lesbianism, transgenderism, homosexual and lesbian marriages and bestiality, pornography, pedophelia and incest, not only by word of mouth but by example. They should be denounced from the pulpit and pew.

The LGBTQ+ advocates are very vocal and militant particularly in the UK. They tend to be left leaning and quite bigoted in their views against anyone with remotely anything passing for christian worldview. They have their sponsors in government and in the big corporations. They are very litigious. There are cases pending in the courts in the UK. Business owners and individuals have been persecuted-up to court and tribunal levels- for not pandering to the LGBTQ+ advocates. This kind of thinking and attitude may become more prevalent in the West as we approach the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel. Pastors should prepare for this kind of assaults here in Nigeria. Lesbian or gay couples may demand to wed in the Church or the cake for their wedding prepared by professed Christian outfit. Refusal may result in litigations which may drag on for many years and may amount to waste of time and resources for the Church. They claim to want tolerance and accommodation for as long as it does not involve anyone with a Christian worldview. They preach tolerance but they are obviously bigoted and antiChristian. We are not to compromise with them in any way at all.

The Church in Nigeria have done very well in establishing Christian Schools at all levels of education. We must go further and establish and maintain and uphold Christian and biblical moral principles. We must not engage homosexual professors and teachers in these institutions. If a brother or sister is not morally pure and upright, but engages in any one of these biblically prohibited practices, the one should be relieved of one’s duty after the first and second admonition if there are not obvious signs of penitence. There are evil angels in charge of these obnoxious human conducts of misdemeanor sexual offenses. They are therefore transmissible via demonic transference of spirits. We should not keep company nor eat with fornicators in the Church or any Christian institution.

“But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.”(1 Corinthians 5:11 KJV).

Children should be brought up in the Christian home and the Church. Good moral upbringing based on Christian education and biblical principles of morality must be taught and upheld.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”(Proverbs 22:6 KJV).

Christian discipline must be applied both in the home and the Church, and in Christian institutions.

“Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.”(Proverbs 22:15 KJV).

Children should be corrected in love and humility. We should not fear to correct them. If correction is withholden from a child, it will turn out to be a foolish adult, and a disgrace to the family and body of Christ. Spanking or corporal punishment should be in moderation and in a measure that is commensurate with the offense.

“Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.”(Proverbs 23:13 KJV).

Correction should not always be corporal punishment. In some cases, a word of advice may suffice. Corporal punishment should also be done in love. The child must be told the offense he or she committed and it must be explained to the child why he or she is being punished. Children are in their formative years of life. Therefore, they are malleable and dirigible. The parent or guardian or whoever is administering the punishment must also show signs of vulnerability. We must not be giggling or laughing when we spank a child or show signs of deriving pleasures and joy from the pains of others. We must show signs of sorrow and pain as well. Parental vulnerability should not be fake. The child can easily see through that. Being empathic will help the child appreciate the gravity of his or her offense and the need and necessity for the correction.

Christian upbringing is sweeter and far easier if the parents are friends with their children. The fear of God cannot be instilled in a child by terrorizing the child. Friendship between parents and children makes parenting easier for the parents and learning easier for the children. Good Christian morals are easier inculcated in the child in an atmosphere of friendliness. An atmosphere of friendship in the home makes it easier for children to share their thoughts and fears with the parents and to ask questions. Parents should not just dismiss the fears of their children with a wave of the hand. They should be properly addressed, more so from biblical perspectives. So also their questions even when they are seemingly foolish. Parents should not be irritated when their wards ask probing questions that may expose the parents’ own ignorance or weakness. They should also be properly addressed, more so from biblical perspectives.

Corporal punishment when properly administered will not injure or kill a child. Therefore it must not be done in anger, lest we exceed the measure. If done in anger, it will most likely lead to physical abuse, and may provoke anger and rebellion in the victim. Parents must not provoke their children to anger. It will lead to discouragement.

“Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.”(Colossians 3:21 KJV).

This admonition applies to both parents, but the fathers are more vulnerable here because of their physicality. There should be no favoritism or partiality in the Church, the Christian home or institution, not even in secret. The practice of favoritism and partiality in these bastions of morality will transform our wards into rebels, sociopaths, and delinquents. They will see us as hypocrites. They will become rebellious. When children are abused in the home, Church or school, either emtionallly, physically or sexually, they turn out to be mangled and unattractive internally and become perverts in the society.

Divorce must be discouraged as much as possible. Most children from broken homes go on to become social misfits. Both parents must work hard to provide for the children. However, provision for the family is primarily the responsibility of the husband and father.

“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”(1 Timothy 5:8 KJV).

The father and husband who fails to provide for his own family are considered worst than an unbelievers. In this day and age, most mothers work. So, family provision is now a shared responsibility and no longer wholly the exclusive responsibility of the man of the house.

The sanctity of life must be paramount. Therefore abortion and euthanasia should be vehemently denounced, especially the wicked act of postbirth abortion. By postbirth abortion is ment the situation where attempt is made to abort the fetus but fails, and the pregnant mother delivers safely, but the neonate’s life is snuffed out by the medical personnel simply because the family does not want the child or is incapable of taking care of the child due to financial, material, emotional or physical constraints. Sometimes the reason for this wicked act is congenital abnormalies or mental retardation or financial incapacity. Admittedly, these cases may lead to very trying and emotionally draining or physical or mentally exhausting situations and born out in the care giver. In well funded societies, government institutions and some NGOs may take over. In the case of NGOs, they must be Christian in foundation and share the same core valures as the Church.

The Christian family must be holy and righteous both in conduct and outlook. We must be different from what is commonplace or ordinary. We must not allow ourselves to be forced into the mold of the world. We must not suffer ourselves to conform to the image of the world. As we approach the beginning of the 70th week, Christians who refuse to be RFIDed may not be permitted to register their children in some government and private schools. We must be prepared to homeschool our children from Crèche to the secondary school level. Those of our children in higher institutions may be deregistered. We must prepare ourselves both mentally and emotionally to go through this difficult times without flagging . After all it will only be a short time before it will be all over.

We must respond to the exigencies of the times with equanimity of heart and serenity of soul knowing that it shall be but a short time. This should be our faith and our patience. Our confidence should be in the Lord who never fails, but rather promised to be with us till the End Of The Ages.

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”(Matthew 28:20 KJV).

Christian parents who refuse to be chipped or branded will lose their deposits. They will be blackballed out of business. This will create hash economic and financial difficulties for the family. So creativity and improvisations are needed in order to find alternative means of livelihood for the family. The family may need to leave the big cities and towns and relocate to smaller towns and villages and leave off the ground. At some point, susbsistent farming, hunting and scavenging may be the only means of livelihood and survival.

The family size must be kept as small as possible considering the difficulties of the end times. The aspect of having small families may be a bit hard for some parts of the world to take, taking into account the culture, tradition etc. But we must bear in mind that is not our culture or tradition that is at stake but our survival in hostile antiChristian environment. It is definitely a good advice when viewed in the light of the hash times ahead. Christian couples who marry when microchipping is mandated by the Big Brother should avoid pregnancy. In difficult times like this pregnant and nursing mothers, children and the elderly suffer the most, from malnutrition and starvation, sickness and disease, and exposure to the elements. So, it is most prudent to limit the family size as much as possible and to avoid pregnancy altogether. Young couples should go for permanent contraception such as Bilateral Tubal Ligation for the woman or Bilateral Epidydimovasostomy for the man. Considering the exigencies of the times, it is even better not to marry at all. Those who are married should be as they are not married. To marry is not sin, but those who marry should know that they shall have more troubles in the flesh like the care for one’s spouse and how to meet the needs of the family especially the young ones.

“I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be. Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction. But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry. Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well. So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better. The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.”(1 Corinthians 7:26-40 KJV).

Marriage is not sin. But those who are married will have loads of troubles in the flesh, more so in the end times. In the light of this, it is expedient to limit the family size as mush as possible, or better still to remain single, or for the newly wed and young couples to avoid pregnancy altogether.

Modern Technology In The End Times

As regarding technology, we should start by practising ditching our electronic gadgets on which we are so dependent like smartphones, laptops and desktops for a few hours to a day and a few days, and see how we fair without them. We can assess how difficult life will be without these gadgets. When mandatory microchip account is introduced and we refuse to comply, we will lose our deposits in the banks, and along with that comes a host of other things. For instance, our BVN and Bank Account Numbers(BANs) are linked with our cellphone numbers. We may also lose our cellphone numbers. Even if we do not lose our phone lines, we may be endangering our lives by operating these lines. For example, the network company knows the exact location of our phones even when they are not in use or switched off. And the location of our phones say a whole lot about our location. In that case, it will be easier for the security agents of the Big Brother to track our movements and locations. The same goes for our cars if the transponders are not turned off, and any other electronic equipment with GPS. Because Google has mapped out the whole world including ocean floors, it will be difficult to hide from the prying eyes of the Big Brother’s security apparatus.

As we approach the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel, we believers should try as much as possible to wean ourselves off on the use of technology. This measure requires a lot of foresight with regards to the end time scenario. Because when cashlessness is introduced, and we lose our deposits, it will be extremely difficult for us to move around, considering lack of money and means of transportation. It therefore behoves us to relocate to our chosen place of refuge before this time arrives. We are children of the day and of light, not of night nor of darkness. So this time should not come upon unawares(1 Thess.5:4-8).

One of those factors that will add to the confluence of events to make the End Times Scenario possible will be development in modern technology. Google has mapped out the whole world. One can make calls to and from almost anywhere in the world. Electronic mails have almost eliminated the art of letter writing as a means of communication. One can communicate with almost anyone anywhere in the world instantly through Skype, BBM, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Satellite Phone, etc. With this ease of communication comes the erosion of privacy. Almost any electronic gadget one purchases nowadays is equipped with GPS. Even thermostats in people’s homes are equipped with GPS. The government and its security apparatus can monitor anyone of its citizens at any time. They can monitor one’s movement and activities. Even when one’s phone is not in use or switched off, the manufacturer and the mobile network can pinpoint its exact location. With the introduction of 5G network, there will be nothing hidden from the prying eyes of those in power.

Every government has the responsibility under God to protect its citizens. In an attempt to sieve out terrorists, criminals and felons, every citizen will be monitored. This is a necessary evil. Christians had better be aware of it. Because we are men and women who have understanding of the times, reason and wisdom would that we conduct ourselves in a righteous and holy manner. Our manner of conversation, lifestyle, conduct, manner of walk, and value system should be impeccable and blameless knowing that we are being watched by the Big Brother. We are also being watched by both Heaven and Earth. The departed saints are also watching us from the grandstand in Heaven(Heb.12:1). If we know that our calls and WhatsApp messages can be accessed by the Big Brother and other interest parties, we should be circumspect in our conversation. The saying that walls have ears has never been truer than in this day and age; infact, walls nowadays not only have ears but eyes as well.

(a) Biometric Implants

With escalation in terror attacks, those in government have enormous responsibility to protect the citizenry. There are private citizens and members of civil liberties union who feel their privacy is being infringed upon or eroded by the activities of the government and its security apparatus. But this is a necessary evil. The government has both the right and the responsibility to protect its citizens. Very soon there will be a harmonization of all biometric data. Drivers’ license, national ID, BVN, NIN, TIN, credit and debit card numbers etc will be collapsed into one social security number with all relevant biometric data specific to the individual. Initially this number will be carried about on a plastic card. But in order to avoid theft, it will have to be implanted in some part of the body.

Biometric implants are already in use in some parts of the world, especially in the Scandinavian countries and China. This is what the Big Brother will use as a mark of allegiance to his authority and assumed divinity. Even before the antiChrist makes his debut at the rebuilt Jewish temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, biometric implants will be very commonly in use. The antiMessiah will standardize its use and make it compulsory and mandatory in his kingdom. Lots of our celebrities wear tattoos. What is a biometric implant to those who are accustomed to wearing tattoo marks? The society is already being primed for it. Those who fail to capitulate to his authority will not be able to buy and sell or transact any business, and could die of starvation if they have not previously stocked away food, medicine and other supplies. No matter how hard the situation, on no account should a believer accept to be branded with RFID or any form of digital identification on one’s person.

(c) Cashless Society

In some societies in the West, except drug barons and money launderers, there is hardly anyone with more than a few notes on one’s person at any point in time. It is very cumbersome to carry money about. There is the risk of loss in transit, theft and armed robbery which can create a big hole in our finances. In a place like Sweden, over 90% of business transactions are done online. Malaysia will soon be the First Nation in the world to become totally cashless. Very soon cash will be eliminated altogether. With NFC and mobile applications like Google Wallet and Apple Pay etc which enable one to purchase online, the use of cash will soon be almost unnecessary. All that is left for it to become a reality is the political will on the part of those in government. With one’s account linked to one’s biometrics, one can purchase almost anything online, it will be delivered to one’s door by robots or drones. A cashless society will enable the government and its security apparatus to monitor almost every transaction except in cases where some agree orally to trade by barter. Because it makes it much easier to monitor terrorists, the government will encourage cashlessness. The antiChrist will eventually use cashlessness to his advantage to regulate and monitor allegiance to himself. Of late, due to coronavirus epidemic, WHO has advised we go cashless because cash can habour a lot of viruses. They want to use fear as a vehicle to foist cashlessness upon us. It is a matter of time. Sooner or later, they will succed.

How do we as believers in the End Times combat cashlessness? We must start now to trade amongst ourselves. Make your purchase from brothers who have the goods you want. It will make it easier for us to run the boycott and gauntlet if we have established a system of trading amongst ourselves. Second, we have to go into production of goods, particularly food items. It helps to provide jobs for us in the mean time. Besides, it is a whole lot easier to trade amongst ourselves if we manufacture our products rather than being middlemen and distributors to some industries owned by unbelievers or government parastatals. Trading amongst ourselves may be by barter in extreme cases. Before we are boycotted, we have to develop our own legal tender with which to trade amongst ourselves. This will require a lot of logistics and trust and secrecy. The services and expertise of brethren who have experience in this area will have to be employed. I have no doubt that there will be believers whom God will prepare to rise up to the occasion. Under extreme conditions, it may be impossible to trade at all. We would have to rely solely on what we have stored away earlier or what we can produce by subsistent farming. Luxury goods may be out of our reach. Believers should be creative and innovative. We should think of how we can preserve our local produce to last for months and years. We should create energy bars from local foods and condiments nutritious enough to keep us alive for months and perhaps a couple of years.

(c) Internet Of Things

One of the most wonderful inventions of man in our time is the computer and the Internet. It has revolutionized our world as did the steam engine, crude oil, telephone, electricity, and aeroplane etc. Most valuable things we need today we can purchase online. Very soon we can purchase almost anything online. There will soon be an Internet of things(IoT) or better still Internet of everything(IoE). What that means is that one can purchase anything online. Internet of everything, cashless society and biometric implants will make it a lot easier for the Big Brother and his minions to monitor all transactions to ensure that no one without the mark of allegiance to the Big Brother can buy or sell. It will be virtually impossible for anyone without the mark of the beast to engage in any form of transactions. Those who do not have this mark could die of starvation if they have not previously stocked away food, medicine and other supplies. If they get anything from anyone who has it, it will be entirely on the grounds of mercy and good will, if not stolen.

How do we survive when we cannot trade on the internet? We do not have many options in this regard. Like we mentioned earlier, we have to go into production of our own goods and services, and trade amongst ourselves. The other option would be subsistent farming. This will necessitate our relocation to the villages and better still into the forests away from the prying eyes of the Big Brother and its security agents. This move however would not totally guarantee safety. Some believers who are used to the comfort of city life may find it extremely difficult to survive in the bush or forest for any reasonable length of time. We must begin now to train our minds to adapt to life in the forest, secret bunkers and lairs.

Drones And Robots

Robots will be used in policing the state and in security outfits. Robots can identify those who are not chipped. Robots will play vital rolls in modern industry and technology at all levels from the procurement of raw materials(sourcing) to manufacture and packaging, labeling, and delivery of finished products. Robots will act as dispatch riders and delivery men. In the event of global war, most world powers will field robotic supersoldiers. They can navigate difficult terrains which will be very dangerous to human soldiers. There will be also robotic super policemen. Drones can ferry products to specified destination. There are lots of these already in service in the Israeli Army. There are also killer drones. Swarming drone technology can be used in targeted killings.

The simple way we we can combat these technologies is to get out of their reach. We may have to leave the big cities and towns, and move to smaller towns and villages. At the extreme point, we may have to retire into the bushes and forests. On the other hand, there will certainly be some believers who are technically savvy who may hack into these drones and robots and manipulate them to our advantage. This is a very dangerous mission. Those who engage in it must know the dangers involved and their limitations. Whatever success they may have will be temporary and limited. Sooner or later, they will without doubt be discovered by the Big Brother and may face arrest, torture, imprisonment, starvation and execution by decapitaion. The technological advancement of the Big Brother is such that if those days were allowed to continue indefinitely, they would ferret out and kill all nonconformists. “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”(Matthew 24:22). So, we cannot hide indefinitely, neither can we spoof their drones and robots for any reasonable length of time.

5G Network, IOT, The Mark Of The Beast, And Global Surveillance And Control

5G network is not just for fast internet connectivity, it is for transparency and visibility. It is for intelligence; it is the Big Brother’s third eye. With 5G Towers, the Big Brother will be tracking you in the most dystopian form to gain absolute and complete surveillance. With 5G network, there are no barriers, everything and everyone is visible. 5G network sees through walls , metals, solid objects and barriers. The Big Brother can monitor everyone and everything. There will be no privacy nor secrecy. With 5G network you are visible and audible in your bedroom, closet, as well as in your office or in transit. 5G network is for global surveillance and control. With global digital identity, cashlessness, and IoT, no human activity will be private or shrouded in secrecy. The Big Brother knows everyone, sees everyone, and sees and knows what everyone is doing at all times.

Everyone’s life will be a video broadcast to the Big Brother. And with a policy of zero tolerance to opposition and rebellion, this kind of Orwellian Government will put almost everyone in fear and dread of its security apparatus. From the sites you visit on the net, whom you chat with or chat up, places you visit, your friends and relatives, the companies you keep, your habits, and the things you purchase, your behavior, actions, and intents of your heart can be pretty well predictable. Rebellion will be almost impossible to organize, for it can be pretty well predicted ahead of time of actualization and nipped in the bud. In a society of this kind, men and women are literally paralyzed with in fear, cowered, and are zombies to the system.

5G Towers will be installed every 300 meters or every 2-10 houses. 5G emits EMI up to 95Ghz which is potentially harmful to the human body. Potential effects are concers, fetal abnormalities, neurological abnormalities, neuropsychiatric abnormalities, and depressed immune system.

How do we survive under 5G surveillance?

The primary way is to get away from 5G areas of coverage as far as possible. We may have to abandon the cities and big towns and move into the villages. As a last resort, we may have to move into the forests and bushes where there are no 5G coverage. The effects of 5G network on health may take some time to manifest. It should not be our primary concern except for pregnant mothers who may have to worry about congenital abnormalities of the unborn. 5G network may be difficult to spoof, though not impossible. As a last resort, attempt may be made to sabotage the network. One has to bear in mind that there will be swift reprisals from the authorities. At some point, the youths amongst us may have to put some form of resistance.

Current RFID

Over 100,000 people have been chipped worldwide with RFID. It contains 16 digits, 2 digits short of the 18 digit mark of the Beast. The concensus of opinion is that it is not the mark of the Beast in its present form, reason being that it is less than 18 digits, implanted on either the right or left hand, so far, and not the forehead. It does not yet serve as national ID, international passport, drivers’ license, and bank account. All these four microcip IDs will be collapsed into one ID, harmonised worldwide and universalized and made imperative or compulsory and mandatory by some kind of legislation and or economic boycot of those who reject it.

Concerning the mark of the Beast, I wish to draw our attention to the fact that it could be on either the right or left hand. There are three passages of scriptures that speak about the mark of the beast. Rev.13:16 says right hand or forehead.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:” Rev.14: 9 says forehead, or hand. “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand.” The third passage is Rev.20:4. It says hands or foreheads. “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

In the light of these passages, either right hand, left hand, or forehead is valid. Anyone being chipped could chose to do it on the right or left hand or forehead. So, we cannot say the current RFID is not valid because it is done on either hand only and not the forehead. I do not know assuredly that it is. On the other hand, I cannot tell anyone that it is not. My reasoned and informed opinion is that it is too dangerous to toy with eternity in Hell and the Lake of fire and Sulphur. It is like a slippery creek bank. If one keeps fooling with it, one can slip into it. Those who receive the beta version now may simply upgrade in the future: in fact, the upgrade may be automatic. In that case one may not have the option of exit once one has taken the mark.

It is written: “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”(Rev.14:9-11).

The fact that this statement is coupled with: “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus, referring to to the Jews and Christians who reject the mark of allegiance to the Beast for which they are persecuted and some suffer torture and martyrdom: [“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” (Rev.14:12-13)]; indicates that the saints will be here on Earth when this mark is being issued and will have the free will to choose this mark and live or reject it and die or be subjected to imprisonment, torture, starvation, economic boycot, humiliation or other indignities.

The fact the the Rapture has not yet taken place nor the antiChrist identified does not invalidate the current RFID. The scriptures do not in so many words exempt the saints from this trial. It is a trial that will come upon everyone that dwells on the Earth(Rev.3:10). {Believers by virtue of their knowledge of the end times, prior preparations, and trust in God are given protection within this trial period, and eventual removal when the trial is amputated by the cosmic and celestial disturbances}. The pretribs recognize that, though they relegate it to the so called “Tribulation Saints” or “those left behind,” whose only means of salvation will be martyrdom, which as it were is salvation by works, which is utterly scripturally unsustainable.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”(Eph.2:8-9). According to pretribulationism, the “left behind” are as it were condemned to martyrdom without which they cannot obtain salvation, inasmuch as the rapture has already taken place, and there is no second rapture. Therefore, none of them will obtain salvation any other way other than by martyrdom. This is utter nonsense which has no biblical bases.

How Do Believers Deal With RFID?

The only way to deal with chipping is to say NO to it. There are end time teachers who believe and teach that a believer can accept to be chipped and repent later. This is utter nonsense. Anyone who accepts to be branded have sinned beyond repentance. He has reached a point of no return. It is deliberate disobedience. The wrath of God abides on anyone who receives the mark of allegiance to the Big Brother.

Other Measures

When we find ourselves in the bush or forest, apart from food and shelter, two other important needs will be potable water and energy. We may not be able to purchase fuel and kerosine and gas for cooking. It will be alright if we can use firewood if available. We may have to resort to wood stoves. We can use coal if available. Coal can be made from grass. Sometimes, naturally occurring coal may not be available depending on one’s location. In this regard improvisation is needed for survival. Underground aquifers may be too deep from the surface to dig a well in some areas. In the areas where they are close to the surface, digging a well may be good source of potable water supply. Every believer should learn simple filteration, how to obtain clean water from ponds and streams and rivers. After filteration, the water can be chlorinated to kill the common organisms in pond water like amoebas. Where ponds, streams and rivers are not available, Christian ingenuity may come into play. Water can be recovered from the atmosphere. Water can be synthesized from its elements, Oxygen and Hydrogen. Water can also be recovered from urine. Bill Gate’s Foundation is working on it. Clean catch during the rains will be a good source of potable water. Rain water can also be stored in underground tanks and containers.

Human excreta can be converted into solid bars after sterilization and deodorification. It burns like firewood and can be used for cooking and heating up the environment in the Wintre and Harmattan. In the Americas in the early days dry cow and buffalo dungs were used to cook food and to heat up the environment in Wintre. Black slaves were sent to scout for dry buffalo dungs in the wild. Those believers who rear cow and cattle, goats and sheep can convert the dry dungs to combustible material for cooking and warming the environment. This is very important because one of the things the believer will contend with in the end times in the wild is exposure to the elements. The elderly and infants especially the neonates are susceptible to temperature variations. Warm clothing is a necessity in the Wintre and Harmattan. Grass can be used to avoid frostbite as do the Eskimos of Northern Canada.

The amount of energy from the sun that reaches the Earth in a day is enough to provide the energy needs of the Earth for a thousand years. An infinitesimal fraction of it is utilized by plants and animals and the rest absorbed by the Earth. This enormous amount of energy can be harnessed to meet the energy needs of man. Solar panels are not efficient in trapping the energy from the sun. Besides, they can be easily spotted from the air as they reflect the rays of the sun. Scientists are at work trying to develop efficient solar batteries made from granite and silica. If they succeed, the energy needs of the world will be solved. Christian engineers should work on developing more efficient solar batteries to trap energy from the sun. Nigeria is sitting on the Doldrums. We should not lack energy. If this problem is solved, it will help believers who live in hideouts, underground bunkers, and safe havens in the end times. Cooking gas can be recovered from the air we breathe.

Smart Cities Of The Future

The future cities of the world would be smart cities. It will be very exciting and exhilarating to live in any of these cities. Google is building one in Canada. China also is building smart cities, so also UAE and KSA. To live in these cities, one must become a cyborg. In these cities, there will be IoT. No body will have to go to the grocery store to buy groceries. Orders will be placed from the home via the internet, and filled by robots and supplied by and delivery made by drones or robots. There may be no humans at the grocery stores or perhaps a few to make sure everything is running smoothly. There will be no Post Office, no Cinema. Human contact will be reduced to the barest minimum. Doctors-patient relationship will rarely involve direct human contact except in serious and emergency cases as doctors will follow their patients through smart doctor-patient apps. Out patient clinic will be very negligible.

Once a believer becomes a cyborg, he or she is disqualified. Why? Because he or she has become hybridized through technology. If any man takes the mark of the Beast, the wrath of God abides on him. Smart cities are really smart. They will be very enticing and alluring. On no account should believers agree to live in smart cities simply because one has to become a cyborg to live in a smart city. Cyborgs have altered human nature through technology and cannot be redeemed. Cyborgs are transhumans. And transhumanism is antiGod and antiChrist.

Government

To the unaided eye, it is as though the kingdoms of this age oppose themselves, but secretly behind the scene, they are working together to institute One World Government, and also One World Religion and Commerce-inasmuch as religion is inextricably linked and tied up with buying and selling- because One World Religion cannot be feasible without One World Government. The world elites are united in their goal of achieving world domination. After decades of isolation, China became prosperous after it joined the World Trade Organization(WTO). Russia had no billionaires until it opened up to the West. Today both China and Russia mint billionaires. It is said that every week a billionaire is minted in China.

Eventually, the world will goepolitically be organized into four regional bodies and powers. The king of the West as represented by the European Union and its Great ally, the United States will give the world its bloodiest dictator. It will be the western postchristian democracies that will birth the antiMessiah. There will be the king of the North. It will be composed of whatever is left of Russia after dismemberment by the exit of Meshech and Tuval, and some nations in Central Asia. Meshech and Tuval together with Magog will be the power base-the iron in the ten toes of the image of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream- of the Eighth And Final Beast Empire of Satan.

“His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.”(Daniel 2:33, 40-43 KJV).

In the lattter days, the king of the West shall be opposed by the king of the North as well as the kings of the East(Dan.11:40-45). There will be the king of the South. This will be a regional body of African nations south of the Sahara inasmuch as Libya and Sudan will be allied to the king of the west. We should not think of Put( Libya) and Cush(Sudan) as modern day Libya and Sudan. They are certainly much more broader than these modern nations. They may in fact refer to the whole of Africa north of the Sahara in ancient times with the exception of Egypt. Egypt shall be isolated. That is why the king of the West will make a mince meal of her. “He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.”(Daniel 11:42 KJV).

Note also that it is not the king of the East but the kings of the East.

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.”(Revelation 16:12 KJV).

Why? Because of ideological and religious differences, there will be no united regional body that will represent the East like other regions. The Eastern nations are natural enemies. They have not achieved unity and will never do. China is in enmity with Japan. India and Pakistan are as cat and dog. Bangladesh broke away from Pakistan with the assistance of India as did Pakistan from India. Japan is primarily Shinto and their Emperor is the human representation of their gods. At the ceremony of the Daijosi, the Emperor enters into sexual union with the gods of Japan in the behalf of the people of Japan. Japan is impervious to Christianity. Anyone who has prayed for Japan can testify that is like breaking down a rocky mountain with and axe. Christians, including Roman Catholics constitute less than 1% of the population of Japan. Their government is representative democracy like the US.

China is predominantly Confusian and Buddhist, and their form of government is godless communism. Their god is the communistic party in China. Christians and the Uigurs(who are ethnic Muslims) are severely persecuted. Pentecostal and other denominational churches have been dynamited in China. Only the churches approved by the state are allowed. These churches preach to their congregants what the Big Brother wants them to hear, absolute allegiance to the state. The true Church in China is underground. Anyone who is opposed to the government is toast. There are concentration camps and and mobile organ harvesting vans where nonconformists to the communist regime are “rehabilitated.” The Chinese state is a highly surveilled society. China is far ahead of the rest of the world in surveillance and control of her citizenry. The Chinese are Hamitic peoples.

The predominant religion in India is Hinduism. There are also Sikhs and a few Muslims. Christians and Muslims are the minority. Christians are severely persecuted in India. A Hindu who converts to Christianity may lose everything even one’s life. Pakistan is predominately Muslim. The Christian minority are severely persecuted. As in India, a Muslim who converts to Christianity in Pakistan may lose one’s life. India and Pakistan are mortal enemies. They have fought two major wars. Both of them are nuclear powers. The disputed region of Indian Casmir is a hot bed of terrorism. We can see why the East will not have united regional body like the other regions of the world. One thread that is common to and runs through all these regional powers is the string of hatred and persecution of the believer and antisemitism. India and Pakistan are Indo-European peoples.

The world will eventually achieve for a season One World Government to be headed by the king of the West who will be the most powerful of all these regional kings both militarily and economically. He will gain world domination by subtle peace diplomacy and and political intrigue, and will eventually resort to war to conquer erring nations and kingdoms(Matt.24:5-7; Rev.6:1-4). Power will be given him over all the world.

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”(Rev.13:7 KJV).

He will be an embodiment of the Dragon from whom he receives power and authority(Rev.13:2). He will head the revived Roman Empire and its allies which is the Eighth And Final Beast Empire of Satan, a ten-nation confederation. It is the iron and the clay of Dan.2:33, 41-43 and the nondescript Beast of Dan.7:7. He is a dead man come back to life that lived before and ruled over one of the previous seven Beast Empires of Satan. He was killed with a military weapon in battle. In actual fact, he ruled over the seventh Beast Empire, the Third Reich of Nazi Germany. His souls and spirit went down into the abyss. He shall ascend from the abyss to rule over the Eighth And Final Beast Empire of Satan, the Fourth Reich.

“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”(Rev.17:8 KJV.

The Eighth And Final Beast Empire: The Fourth Reich

Hitler’s Third Reich was the Seventh Beast Empire. The Eighth and Final Beast Empire will be the Fourth Reich. We have talked about the composition of the Eighth Beast Empire. They are Magog, Meshech, Tuval, Javan(Greek Syria), Tiras(Persia), Put(Libya), Cush(Sudan), Arpachschad(Babylon), Gomer and Togarmah(Turkey, Azerbaijan)[Rev.13:3; Ezek.38:1-6]. The little horn which is the eleventh that roots out three others is the Big Brother. In the days of these kings, the kingdoms of this age shall become the kingdom of God and of His Christ.

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”(Rev.11:15 KJV).

This is at the blowing of the seventh trumpet on Day 5 of the 30-day Reclamation Period of the Kingdom when God Almighty through His human representative, an Adam, the last Adam but the Second Man-who is the Lord from the Heaven(1 Cor.15:47) reclaims God’s rule over the Earth. At this time in the eschatological timeline, the Church is in Heaven. The Church cannot achieve this feat by any means. It is a divine accomplishment. God will regain the dominion Adam lost by war. There were theologians who believed that the Gospel as leaven shall permeate the whole world. They were amillennialists. Their Hope was shattered by the two world wars. They lost their faith in the inherent goodness of man. Today, they have resurfaced as Christian Reconstructionists or theonomists. The Fourth And Final world war will put to silence their vainglorious declarations of the inherent goodness of man.

As we can see from the political map above, the seven secondary nations of the Eighth And Final Beast Empire surround Israel. To survive, the antiMessiah, the King Of the West who is allied to these nations will broker a peace treaty between them and Israel(Dan.9:27). This will be the “covenant with Death” and “agreement with Hell.” It will be “taking refuge in lies,” and “hiding under falsehood.” Israel will seek protection from this most powerful of the regional powers at that time in total ignorance of the fact that the its supposed protector would one day seek her total destruction and annihilation.

“Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.”(Isaiah 28:14-19 KJV).

At that time, the bed shall be shorter than he that lieth on it, and the duvet narrower than he that covereth himself with it(Isa.28:20).

The Big Brother’s government will be characterized by blasphemy against God and those we dwell in Heaven.

“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”(Rev.13:5-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

He will demand total and absolute allegiance from man, hence the need to get everyone to be branded with his mark of allegiance, a RFID of sorts.

“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”(Rev.13:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

The Mark of the Beast will be a biochip implanted on either hand or forehead. It will consist of eighteen digits.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”(Rev.13:16-18 KJV).

He will promise peace and security(pax et securitas) in a nebulous utopian Golden Age. He shall deliver for a season. He shall put a chicken in every pot of those who have sold their souls to him. He will credit fiat money to their accounts, put the unemployed on social welfare and government handouts.

Enforcers And Informers

Besides highly advanced technology, there will be human agents of the the highly surveilled society. They shall include the police, secret agents, the army, civil defense, coast guards etc. With the fast development in modern technology and computer, it will be extremely difficult, perhaps near impossible to evade these overzealous and watchful eyes. Besides these special government officers, ordinary citizens shall shall be encouraged to report and inform on one another just like in the communist era in communist countries at the height of the Cold War. Children shall betray their parents to death and vice vasa due to the fact that the family fabrics have been rubbished. Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold(Matt.24:12). And a man’s enemy shall be those of his own household(Matt.10:36; Mark 13:12). It shall be difficult to find trustworthy brethren. There will be false believers. Secret agents of the government shall infiltrate underground Christian groups posing as brethren. There shall be wolves in sheep’s clothing(Matt.7:15; 10:16; Luk.10:3). There will be false prophets, teachers and messiahs, all there to deceive many(Matt.24:5; Mark 13:22,23).

The system of government of the Big Brother shall be based on mistrust. The Big Brother will trust no one. Therefore his citizens shall be encouraged to inform on one another. Parents shall report on their children, and the children shall be against their parents. The daughter-in-law shall be against the mother-in-law, and vice versa.

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household”(Matt.10:34-36).

The antiMessiah shall apply the principle of divide and rule. He will destroy family fabrics, and encourage evil of all sorts. He shall not respect family ties. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold(Matt.24:10,12). Even within the church shall arise false brethren who shall betray others. It shall not be advisable to trust anyone at that unless one can vouch for them. Now brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death(Mark 13:12). Those shall be evil days and times indeed. But the judgement shall seat, and his kingdom shall be taken away from him and given to the people of the Most High.

“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”(Daniel 2:44 KJV).

“I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”(Daniel 7:9-14 KJV).

We believers of these last days should be watchmen.

“Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.”(Ezekiel 3:17-21 KJV).

God has placed us upon the wall to watch and to warn the inhabitants of the world of the impending doom. We must not fail in our duty and obligations to a dead and dying world. We must extricate ourselves from blood guiltiest by warning the people of the world and believers in Christ of the impending doom and the sword that is coming upon the Earth lest they be overtaken by the sword or doom.

“Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.”(Ezekiel 33:1-20 KJV).

We are to warn the righteous man no to trust in his righteousness and commit iniquity but to continue in his righteousness. We are to warn the wicked not to continue in his wickedness to commit iniquity but to turn from his wickedness to that which is right.

God has placed us upon the wall to watch and to warn the inhabitants of the world of the impending doom. We are like the men of Issachar who had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do at each point in time(1 Chron.12:32). We have understanding concerning the times and the seasons. We must be watching and praying. We are to monitor the trend of events and developments in the seven areas of societal pillars, most especially in the areas of government, finance, religion and technology. We can cautiously go along with the government until they require us to be chipped in order to buy and sell. From the trend of events we should know when cashlessness is about to be introduced and withdraw our deposits. When mandatory microchipping is introduced and we opt out, we lose access to our deposits with the banks. From that point onwards, life will be very difficult. At this point must we must opt out of the society. There is no way we can comply with mandatory microchipping. It is rebellion against God.

The Believer: Finance, And Buying And Selling In The End Times

The Universality Of Money

It is all about money. It touches everyone of us without exception. We all use money. We all need money. We work hard to earn money in order that we may meet our needs and those of our loved ones. We also give to charity and do arms, all from our sweat and labors. There is an Igbo adage that says “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.” But indeed the way to a man’s heart is through his bank account. A man’s bank account is linked to his pocket. What is in a man’s bank account determines what is in his pocket and in turn what goes into his stomach. A Yoruba adage says, “kosi olorun bi ofun,” which interpreted means, “there is no god like the gullet.” Why? Because you sacrifice to it, at least three times a day. The Philippinos eat four to five times a day. Is there any gods that humans sacrifice to more oftener in a day? Another Igbo adage says, “Ihe a n’alu bu ihe eji n’akpa.” Loosely translates, it means “marriage depends on what is in the bag(pocket).” Another Igbo adage says “ihe n’achi uwa w’ego:” what rules the world is money. “Olowo l’aye mo” is the title of a Yoruba literary work which was recommended reading in my form one in Lagos in the early 1970s. It means “it is the moneybag that the world knows.” It sounds similar to the Igbo what rules the world is money. All peoples all over the world had their wisemen who observed and interpreted human condition.

The Necessity Of Money

Money is vital to our daily survival. If we don’t have money, we cannot buy food. If we don’t have food, we don’t eat. And if we don’t eat, we die of starvation. It is that simple. Money is so vital to our existence because we do not practice trade by barter like our primitive forebears. We have built modern human society on consumerism and commercialism. Buying and selling have become an integral and inevitable part of our existence. And human beings are the same all over the World- morally deprave. A Yoruba adage I saw written on a decrepit old taxi in Shagamu says, “Olowo l’obirin mo.” It is the moneybag that a woman knows. So you see, it is the same everywhere. Some of our sisters, both Igbos and Yorubas, and I dare, of every other ethnic group on Earth have rejected potential suitors because they lacked financial muscle at the time of proposal, not because it was not God’s will. Regrettably, some of them will remain celibates all their lives out of self-imposition stemming from love of money which is the root of all evils(1 Tim.6:10). Likewise some of our brothers and sisters have married based on the financial status of the sister or brother in question, and as such their lives are now filled, strewn with pains, aches and sorrows and regrets and ruins. Money has metamorphosed into a god at whose feet virtually everyone bows.

Heaven Is Different

What am I trying to say? Satan created money. He is the god of this age(2 Cor.4:4); the Prince of the power of the air(Jon.14:30; Eph.2:2). There is no buying and selling in Heaven, neither trade by bater. There are no lazy drones in Heaven who depend on the labors of others and earn nothing, who are on social welfare and government handouts. There are no old folks and senior citizens who are retired and can no longer work and are supported by the labors of others. In Heaven, there are no social parasites or those who are economically sterile. In Heaven, we are ageless and eternally youthful. There is no weakness, personal foibles and peccadilloes, no sickness, no disease nor death. Everyone works hard in heaven. Everyone produces maximally and takes what one needs. There is no selfishness, neither envy nor greed in Heaven. That is the government of God. Everything is excellent, perfect.

But on Earth here in this age, it is a different ballgame. Greed, graft and selfishness reign supreme. Money fuels human greed. Money is a very powerful weapon in the hand of the god of this age. It is a necessary evil in that we all have to use it now as a means of exchange, a legal tender. But time comes when we must do away with it. Some don’t think this is possible. It is either you do away with it at some point or be caught in a cesspool of Satan worship and temporary earthly comfort and subsequent eternal damnation. It is Satan’s last Joe Card. He is going to wield it through the banks. If Satan pounces on your pocket and bank account, how are you going to react? Let him have it all in order to save your precious soul? What can man give God in exchange for his soul(Ps.49:8; Matt.16:26; Mk.8:36,37)? “And what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?” Or are you going to reason, wiggle or wriggle your way out of it? It is my hard earned money. I worked for it. I labored for it. I didn’t cheat any man or rob any bank or loot government treasury. I did not swindle it from anyone neither was I involved in internet fraud. My money is legit. I earned my money in legitimate and honest business deals. I need it to put food on my table for my family and loved ones. God understands. Yes, He does, but you are dead wrong. You cannot service God and Mammon(Matt.6:24; Luk.16:9-13). Satan is the originator and owner of money and he wants to hold your soul in bondage for eternity through money. It is either you let go of your hold or hold onto it and be imprisoned for eternity. The only way you can have it is to get chipped with RFID. And when you are chipped, you are in on the worship of the Beast and the Dragon – universal mass idolatry.

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”(Rev.14:9-12).

That is eternal damnation. Satan knows that. He can let you have all the money in the world. Your soul is more precious to Satan than all the wealth of the world. He will credit your account with fiat currency. He will put a chicken in your pot. He grant you international passport. He will make you a citizen of the Globe. There will be no more national boundaries for you. You can go anywhere and live anywhere you so desire. He will grant you trade license. He will let you buy and sell. But you are dooomed for eternity.

Money And The Mark Of The Beast

Is there anyone of us who has a bank account without a BVN? If you do not want a BVN, then forget it, you cannot own and operate a bank account. Is there any decree that everyone must have a BVN? No. It touched our accounts and our pockets, and we all rolled over. That is how it is going to be with the Mark Of The Beast. One day, in no distant a future, the banks will come up with microchip accounts that will be implanted in the arm. It will be with good intentions. Your ATM card can be stolen. It will reduce internet bank fraud to the barest minimum if not eliminate it altogether. If you do not have it, you have forfeited your accounts with the banks. Your business will crumble. There will be one and a thousand other cogent reasons for getting everyone microchipped with RFID. To monitor criminals and felons, and track teenagers in school both by parents and school authorities, in order to curb absenteeism and juvenile delinquency and deviant behavior, and track those with dementia especially the elderly, and the mentally challenged. It will help corporations to know the whereabouts of their employees and to monitor their activities etc. Ab initio, chipping will not be by governmental decrees. It will be voluntary with obvious benefits to the conformists and losses to the nonconformists. If you are chipped, you have access to company facilities and public transport. It will be just sheer innovation in banking technology. It is already in existence. It is being tested in Europe, China, and US. Some are already voluntarily using it. I was in dialogue with a brother who happens to be an IT guru. Here is what he said:

“The privacy and safety concerns they say that they have, that are slowing down the rollout will be eroded over time by hook or by crook. There’s already talk of operating cash free environments in places like the UK and Sweden. Even those on welfare- in some places, the payment is made in the form of a pre-filled payment card; obviously you only get the card issued after you have been sufficiently identified and verified etc., and so on it goes until we end up with the scenario outlined in the Book of Revelation.”

Cash Free Environment And The Mark Of The Beast

Malaysia is at the verge of becoming the First Nation in the world to go totally cashless. In Sweden, those who are chipped with RFID need only wave their hands at NFC reader at the train station or point of sale(POS) and payment is made and the money is deducted from their account. It makes life more wonderful but at the expense of our souls. The financial system we are talking about here when it is fully orbed will not be feasible without cashlessness. Cashlessness and the Mark Of The Beast will be in use worldwide before the emergence of the antiChrist. If you happen to be here at that time, how would react to it? I have said this several times, what the antiChrist will do is to harmonize its use worldwide, universalize it, and make it compulsory and mandatory. But it will be in use long before his appearance on the world stage.

Discourse

How shall the believer live in the light of all these developments? Firstly, we should not suffer ourselves to be taken in by the commercialism and consumerism of this age. We must not allow the world to force us believers into its own mold. We should not be preoccupied with purchasing the latest versions of cell phones, cars, the latest mode of dressing or whatever that is in vogue. Our youths should not allow peer pressure to bend them into the current mode of dressing in the world. As believers, we should dress decently always. We should have manners. We must have a sense of decorum.

Secondly, we must not lay our treasures here on Earth. We must bear in mind that what counts in eternity is the treasures we have in Heaven. As pilgrims and strangers on Earth, we must travel light. We should not be overly concerned with the wealth and riches of this age. Although we need money and the things of this age to survive, like food, shelter, and clothing, we should be not preoccupied with the things of this age.

“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”(1 Timothy 6:6-10 KJV).

Thirdly, we must be observant. It is written: “watch and pray.” Unfortunately today, many believers pray and very few are watching and praying. What we see and observe while we watch should inform our prayers. How can we properly pray for the world when we do not know what is going on in our world? We must know the goings-on in our world. And view them in the light of the word of God concerning the end times. And how shall we view them in the light of the word of God concerning the end times when we are ignorant of the word of God concerning the end times. Then shall we be true watchmen when we know what the word of God says regarding the end times. Then shall we be able to instruct the foolish and the confused.

Fourthly, we must know the times and the seasons. To know the times and the seasons, we must know the eschatological timeline and the sequence of events in the eschatological timeline.

“When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”(Acts 1:6-8 KJV).

One might argue in the light of the above Scripture that we are not supposed to know the times and the seasons. That was not what Jesus said to His disciples. His Jewish disciples were preoccupied with the restoration of the kingdom to Israel. In the First Century AD, Israel was under Roman domination. The Jews had lost their kingdom to Rome. Jesus told them not to be overly preoccupied with the restoration of the kingdom to Israel which is a divine prerogative. Their concern should be to get the message of the gospel to the whole world beginning at Jerusalem. If it were not so, there would be contradiction in the word of God. Their priorities were not right because they had not understood the plan of God concerning the end times. They did not know that some other things must be put in place before God shall restore the kingdom to Israel. For instance, Gospel must be preached to all the world, and the Gentiles must get their place in the Kingdom of God. Secondly, the Messiah shall return the second time and destroy the enemies of God before the kingdom shall be restored to Israel. Establishing a temporal state of Israel though a necessary step towards the restoration of the kingdom to Israel is not itself the restoration of the kingdom to Israel. Today, Israel, the independent Jewish nation exists in the comity of nations, but the earthly domain of God’s Universal Kingdom is not yet restored. Satan is still the God of this age, and the Prince of the power of the air. Why? Because the Sixth Millennium has not yet expired. God’s lease to Adam which Satan usurped shall end at the expiry of the Sixth Millennium. The Seventh Millennium is the Shabbat of the Lord. God will reclaim His rulership of the earthly domain of His Universal Kingdom at the expiry of the Sixth Millennium. Only the Messiah during His Second advent will restore the kingdom to Israel after annihilating the enemies of God at the Battle Of Armageddon(Ezek.38,39; Rev.19:11-21).

“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”(1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 KJV).

In this passage, our brother, Apostle Paul told the Thessalonians that they have no need that he should write and instruct them about the times and the seasons because they already know them. Paul probably gave them oral instructions on this while he was with them. When one passage seems to contradict another, we have to find a common denominator that harmonizes the passages. There must be no antinomies or contradictions. This is one of the five cardinal principles of biblical hermeneutics. Believers are children of the day and light. We are not of the night nor of darkness, neither are we drunken with wine, rather, we are filled with the Spirit. We must know the times and the seasons, but it is not in our power to determines when the kingdom of God is to be restored on Earth. That is a divine prerogative. It is the exclusive preserve of the Almighty. It will come to pass when God had in His infinite wisdom ordained that it will happen. An attempt by man to secure it before that time appointed by God will end is disaster and chaos. Judas the Galilean and Theudas attempted in the first century, it ended in their demise. The Jewish revolt against Rome(66-74 AD) ended in the destruction of the second Jewish Temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem in 70 AD and the dispersion of the Jews all over the world, the so called Diaspora. Ben Kosiva, the Bar Kochba attempted in the early second century AD 132-135, it failed. Jerusalem was ploughed with yokes of oxen by Emperor Hadrian and renamed Ilia Capitolina.

As in the First Century AD, the prophetess Anna and Simeon were waiting for the coming of the Messiah. They saw Him at the presentation in the Temple(Luk.2:25-38). The early disciples knew that after the 69th week of Daniel’s 70 week prophecy, the Holy City, Jerusalem and the Temple would be destroyed(Dan.9:26). So, there was no need to retain private ownership of property in Jerusalem. At other time, it would have been foolhardy for Barnabas to sell his property in Jerusalem and give away the proceeds. It would have been economical wiser to rent or lease the property and share the proceeds with the brethren while still retaining private ownership of the property. If we follow the sequence of events of the end times, we shall know when cashlessness is about to be introduced in our society, state or nation. These things are not going to happen overnight. There will be signs pointing to every event. We should take advantage of these pointers to make the necessary adjustments.

After cashlessness will come mandatory global digital identity for financial inclusion(GDIFI). The bet will be the phrase “financial inclusion.” The Big Brother will really deliver; for there will be financial remuneration for inclusivity. He will really put a chicken in every pot. If one is chipped, one can easily obtain interest free government loans, register one’s business, obtain trade licenses, travel freely all over the world without the burden of obtaining visas, obtain health insurance and free medical treatment, obtain weekly, forthrightly or monthly government handouts and food stamps if one is unemployed. One has become a free citizen of the world, a global citizen so to say. There will be social security and government welfare for the unemployed, the elderly and the disabled or those who are physically, mentally or emotionally challenged if they have not been eliminated before then. If one is chipped, he or she is immediately put on social welfare. Infact, fiat money will be credited to one’s account. The immediate benefits are enormous as one becomes a free citizen of the world. Access to the the IoT. One can purchase anything from anywhere in the world. It will be delivered to one’s door by drones and robots.

When we observe that the world is about to go cashlessness, we should dispose our property in the big cities and towns and retire to the villages, or better still seek out hideouts in the bushes and forests and build safe havens and underground bunkers for ourselves and our loved ones. We must make hay while the sun shines. It is time to close our account with the banks and withdraw our deposits. Once RFID is made mandatory and we refuse, we lose our deposits. Believers who do not adequately prepare ahead of time will experience more dire conditions and hardships if they refuse to be RFIDed. Those of us who are not wise enough to prepare ahead of time may die of starvation, exposure to the elements, suffer depression, and may be altogether disillusioned. Some might even commit suicide, or become rebels and betray other believers.

Believers must begin now to learn to be creative, innovative, and be self-employed and self-reliant. To create jobs for themselves and other believers rather than get lost in government parastatals, the big banks and the big tech companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google etc. Obviously, some of us will be in these places, but they should be as few as possible. We should begin now to practice to trade amongst ourselves. We may have to create our own legal tender(s) with which to trade amongst ourselves when the world goes cashless and we opt out of its economic system or rather boycotted out of it or blackballed out of business. The last resort will be trade by barter or subsistence existence where one produces everthing that one eats. By the time we reach this point, we would have come to the End Of The Ages.

Communitarian System Of Collective Co-existence

“And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”(Acts 2:44-47).

We shall revert back to the primitive communitarian system of collective co-existence practised by the early Church in Jerusalem before dispersion through persecution and rebellion and war with Rome. The rich believers sold their posssesins and distribution was made to the needy ones in the congregation according to everyone’s need. Jerusalem was going to be destroyed. There was no need to retain private ownership of property. The believers in the land of Israel knew this before the Jewish revolt of 66-74 AD, and made adequate preparations.

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”(2 Peter 3:10-14).

When you are on the run, you do not carry much. “Let the overloaded traveller shed of his excessive load all that may benefit the living.” The present heavens and Earth will be salted with fire. We cannot therefore lay our treasures on Earth. As Heaven bound pilgrims, we must lay our treasures in Heaven where neither rust nor mot consumes, and infiltrators do not break in and steal(Matt.6:19,20). We must be willing to let go of the things of this world when Satan pounces on them in order to hold us in bondage to earthly materialism. We must bear it at the back of our minds that all these things shall be dissolved. Time cometh when the whole Earth and the works that are therein shall go up in flames. What manner of men ought we to be in relation to a temporal world?

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”(Acts 4:32-37).

We shall do away with individual ownership of property. The community of believers in Judea and Samaria in the first century AD had foresight into the future of the nation of Israel at that time. From their study of Daniel’s 70 week prophecy, they knew that the Temple and Jerusalem was going to be destroyed and the Jews exiled and dispersed all over the world at the expiry of the 69th week.

“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”(Daniel 9:26).

They sold whatever they had and went into hiding. In 70 AD, 38 years later, from the crucifixion of Christ and the inception of the Church(32 AD), the City and the sanctuary were destroyed and Jews sent into exile. We believers of this generation also have insight into the future based on Dan.9:27. The same scenario the early community of believers witnessed in Palestine in the first half of the First Century AD shall be reinacted and played out, at the end time on a much larger, grander, and global scale.

Once RFID is introduced by the banks, big corporations, and government parastatals we either go along with them or lose our deposits no matter how huge. The structural edifices built by the Church shall be highjacked by the antiChrist and his acolytes during the Great Tribulation. And whatever is left of them after the Great Tribulation shall go up in flames during the Day Of His Wrath(Joel 2:30-32). The whole Earth must salted with fire and sulphur(2 Pet.3:10-18). Churches, parachurches, and ministries should know when to dispose of their property and empty their accounts and disburse them to indigent members to procure safe havens for themselves and their loved ones. Churches and ministries should also think in terms of providing safe havens for its indigent members, although such safe havens will be fraught with logistical problems in terms of running costs, management and security. Cell units of believers who know themselves very well and trust one another are better and easier to run and manage. Any Church property not disposed of, any Church deposit not withdrawn and utilized will be forfeited, confiscated, and impounded by the antiChrist and his gang of humanists. Whatever choice we make, seals our fate in eternity.

The Believer And One World Religion In The End Times

We have established the fact that all religions of the world have a common origin with the exception of Judaism and Christianity. Nimrod, the grandson of Noah instituted mother-child worship in Babylon immediately after the deluge. He attempted to prevent the dispersion of humanity to others parts of the Globe in contradiction to God’s command to man to increase and multiply, subdue the whole Earth and replenish it(Gen.1:28). Nimrod wanted all men to live together in one big village. At Babel, God confounded the language of humanity which necessitated a forced migration of the descendants of Noah to various parts of the Earth.

“So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”(Genesis 11:8-9 KJV).

As they migrated, they carried with them the vestiges of this false religion of mother-child worship instituted by Nimrod.

On the other hand, God instituted Judaism first by the call of Abraham and the instructions He delivered to Moses in the Sinai.

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”(Genesis 12:1-3 KJV).

“And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:……”(Exodus 20:1-4ff KJV).

The law of Moses was not meant to be the guiding principles of human conduct, of relations to God and to one another for eternity, but a temporary arrangement pending the arrival of the Messiah. The Torah was a pedagogue to bring us unto Christ. It was a schoolmaster or better still a child trainer.

“Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.”(Galatians 3:24-25 KJV).

With the arrival of the Messiah, the law, especially its ceremonial aspects were abrogated. The New covenant was instituted. All men, both Jew and Gentile would now worship under the New House. Jesus broke down the middle wall of partition between the Jew and the Gentile.

“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”(Ephesians 2:11-22 KJV).

Christianity therefore is the logical sequela of Judaism. Christianity began as sect within Judaism. National Israel by the rejection of the Messiah were arrested and fixated or sequestered at the infancy stage of the development of divine revelation. Today, it is as though Judaism and Christianity were two religions. But the foundation of Christianity is in the promise made by Yahweh to the Fathers, and Christianity itself is the fulfillment of some of those promises. Our brother Apostle Paul in defense of his faith before Governor Felix said:

“But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:”(Acts 24:14 KJV).

He claimed he worshipped the God of his fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Christianity was not a deviation from Judaism but its apogee, the logical culmination of Judaic promises and expectations.

In the end times, the unity of religions will be achieved by the coming together of all religions into one religion, the One World Religion of the antiMesshiah. The document establishing the unity of religions have been signed at the UN. Any religion which fails to comply, its adherents will be persecuted worldwide. The object of worship of this One World religion will be Satan himself as represented by his human proxy, the Big Brother.

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”(Revelation 13:4-10 KJV).

Those who fail to comply will be mostly Christians and observant Jews and a few nonconformist Gentiles, the free thinkers. The Big Brother will make war with them and overcome them. Power will be given him over all kindreds, tongues and nations. The influence of the Big Brother, the power and authority to act will be worldwide, at least for a season; although he would later be opposed by some regional powers(Dan.11:36-45). The only two groups of people on Earth who will openly oppose this religious madness of worshipping the Dragon and the Beast will be the SEED of the Woman. The woman is Israel and her SEED is the observant Jews who keep the OT laws of the Torah as given by Moses- those who keep the commandments of God- and the believers in the Jewish Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth- those who have the testimony of Jesus. Those amongst the Jews and the believers who are destined to be killed will be killed. And those amongst them who are destined to be taken into captivity will be taken into captivity. This is the patience and faith of the saints(Rev.13.10). There is a certain number of saints to be killed. It is a secret number. It is only known by God. It is not revealed to us in the Scriptures. The secret things belong to God, ….(Deut.29:29). We can never arrive at it by flights of Higher Mathematics. When that number is reached, the killings will be terminated by cosmic and celestial disturbances(Rev.6:9-17). The Wrath of God in the Day Of The Lord has begun.

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”(Revelation 12:17 KJV).

How should the believers in Jesus conduct themselves when this evil religion of mother-child worship is universalized and made mandatory? They should utterly reject it. There will be not compromise with the Devil here. There will be no sitting on the fence. There will be no middle road. The all or none law will apply here. One is either for or against Christ. There is no other way for the believers than total and outright rejection of this false religion of mother-child worship.

The Believer, Media, Entertainment, Culture And Tradition In The End Times

As always our goal is to declare that God is. That he is the creator of the Heavens and the Earth. That man was made in His image to serve Him, and to give Him honor, glory and adoration. Man was made glory to the Lord. On the other hand, the social media has a completely different goal, to promote humanism. But we share the same platform. As always, we are outnumbered. They have many voices, but we have only one voice. They have many sponsors but we have only one sponsor. So, to measure our success by comparing our followership to that of the secular media is not right. The result will not be a true reflection of our success. There is really no bases for comparison, since the world will always love her own. The world will always vote for her own. Our impart should be measured by a completely different yardstick. How many people come to the saving knowledge of Christ by our efforts and witness and presence in the media and intertaimeant world? How many are added to the Church? How many weak and feeble and backsliding believers are brought back to the faith and made strong in their profession and defense of the faith? How many drug addicts and alcoholics and destitutes are rehabilitated by our presence in the media and entertainment world. Even more important, how many believers are made willing to die as martyrs for their Master Jesus and their brethren?

Whilst the world’s artists and celebrities celebrate their sexuality and nakedness, pornography, and promote sexual erotica, the Christian artist and entertainer celebrates his or her God. Whilst they promote obscenity, we promote decency and decorum. While they promote death, we should promote life. Augustine Bassey, the Nigerian Musician said he was offered millions of Dollars by a foreign organization to remove Jesus from his songs, but he declined. This is how it should be. This is why Christians artist are there; to promote Jesus, not just to make money. At what point our goal is just to make money, we have lost our vision, compass and bearing.

The most effective way to fight homosexuality and lesbianism, and the LGBTQ+ is by being straight. A measuring line will reveal what is crooked when place side by side. White is whiter in a dark background. The Sun is brighter in the darkness.

“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”(John 1:5 KJV).

A young, uprising and aspiring Christian artist, seeking a role in a new movie cannot earn Heaven’s ovation by yielding her chastity in order to get a role in a set. In the same vein, a believer who is a producer cannot stand for God by joining the cult of homosexuals in order to make his or her music or movie sell or be number one on the chart list. We cannot promote righteousness and holiness by obtaining membership in a cult of celebrities in order to prosper and be famous. Our goal should not be fame, popularity or wealth, although these may come to us in the course of our duty and service to our Master Jesus. Our goal should be to use our God given talents to promote and advance His Kingdom on Earth. We should not engage in unhealthy competition with the people of the the world in the secular media for the spotlight and celebrity status. Some of them sacrifice their souls to gain worldwide influence and notoriety. “We cannot join the crowd to do evil.”

We cannot promote Heaven’s course by doing the wrong thing. And there is no right way of doing the wrong thing. There is no wise way of sinning; every sinful act is foolish. To promote transvestism or cross dressing for cheap popularity and prosperity is abominable. All that do so are an abomination to the Lord.

“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”(Deut.22:5 KJV).

A Christian in the social media or performing art should not become a crossdresser for whatever reason. We should not admire, follow, or promote such a person. Barbies, whether male or female are abomination in the eyes of God. To be very honest, transvestism is a psychiatric sexual abnormality. We are not to ask for their head, vilify or castigate them in the media. But we should pray for them and seek their salvation. We should leave litigation to the appropriate governmental bodies and agencies and NGOs. Whether or not, they are predators, we must keep our children away from them. Why? Because evil communications corrupt good manners(1 Cor.15:33). Some of them need our care and love. Some of them lost one or both parents in infancy or early childhood. Sometimes, some painful experiences or childhood rejection and abuse, whether, emotional, physical and sexual mighty have created fear and suspicion which were not resolved in childhood. They have created a vacuum and a longing for care, love, and affection. When these voids are not filled, Satan takes over. Nature abhors a vacuum. Man is a temple being. We are either indwelt by God or Satan and his minions, the fallen evil angels. Every nonbeliever has demons.

Sometimes when young actresses go for audition, the director may require them to strip naked. This is wrong. The Christian director or producer should not demand that and the Christian actress should not yield. We cannot because of the need and hunger for success and means of livelihood, compromise our faith. While climbing the lather of success, some out there in the world do a whole lot of weird things of which they are ashamed of later on in life. There is no way a Christian can promote the course of Heaven by stripping himself or herself naked in public or by posting photos of himself or herself in the nude on social media platform. It is cheap popularity; It is an abomination. It is a disgrace. It demeans manhood. It demeans womanhood. It demeans humanity. It is low and ornery. It is an affront on God. It is the worship of Satan. The world will glory in such spunk. It will garner lots of followership than a decent photo of a young Christian actress dressed in a long sleeve gown, wearing scarf with a Bible in hand. Nakedness, of whatever sex is sacred. It should be reserved to the privacy of the closet and the bedroom and to the enjoyment of a couple in Holy heterosexual Matrimony. As we have pointed out, our success is not measured by our followership in the media, but by proper representation of our Heavenly Father. In the same way, a Christian publisher should not promote nudity, pornography and obscenity in his or her media outfit in order to increase sales , circulation, and distribution or rise in the chart list.

The means by which the people of the world gain popularity is by exploiting human weaknesses and moral turpitude. Obscenity, nudity, violence, disaster, both natural and man-made create market, but we promote decency and decorum. We promote righteousness and holiness. We promote love and mercy. The world is not interested in these. God’s holiness is not attractive to deprave humanity. Perversion appeals to fallen man. It feeds his base nature, the adamic nature. It feeds his depravity. Why is it that fallen man is motivated by perversion? Satan is his father, and he is the author of lies. He is the author of all misbegotten ideas.

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”(John 8:44 KJV).

Rich pedophiles from America and Europe come to Africa to defile our children. We see photos of them with their African victims who are minors in our beaches in The Gambia and Kenya. Because of poverty and to augment family income, these children are exposed to sexual violence and pervasion with parental consent. A Christian media outfit should not feature these photos except to draw the attention of the responsible government agencies or NGOs to the ugliness of the situation. There are secular media houses that features these photos to increase sale and circulation and distribution. This should not be our goal. Our goal should be to rescue these children and to prosecute the perpetrators. To draw the attention of the responsible people in government to the evil and to nip it in the bud. These sex perverts from Europe and America dare not openly engage in sex with minors at their beaches. They would be prosecuted and jailed. Because of laxity on the part of those in authority, they get away with these abominable acts on our open beaches. What is a few Dollars to the dignity and innocence of a child, and the sacredness of life? Those who are sexually abused in childhood grow up to be sex perverts and abusers themselves. They grow up to be sociopaths and sometimes psychopaths and schizoid or wacked out personalities. Some of these early childhood abuses leave the victims with fractured, ruptured, and fragmented personalities later on in life. These wackos are indelible blot and blotches on our collective social consciousness.

There are also foreigners who come here to pervert our young women to engage in sex with dogs and other animals and some inanimate sex objects to feed their low and base desires. Because of poverty and sometimes greed, some of our finest young women have fallen victim to the evil machinations of these perverts and sex deviants. There should be Christian outfits there in the social media created solely for the purpose of rescuing and rehabilitating these injured souls. One of the victims says she gets wet when she sees a dog. She is demonized. Only the believers amongst her colleagues can help her. She needs to be rescued, delivered and rehabilitated. There is a particular celebrity that cannot just stop stealing. She is not poor. It is compulsive behavior. She is a cleptomaniac. Her colleagues in the secular media and performing art have not been able to help her. Her problem is spiritual. It demands spiritual solution. It is believers alone who can help such victims.

There are Christian artists who refuse to play a role they were given in a movie set simply because it contradicts their Christian Faith. Some of these movies have gone on to gross millions. This is commendable. They took a stand when the core values of their faith are challenged. These are the kind of celebrities that should be role models to the younger generation. Money is not everything. There are these who have soled their eternal souls to acquire perishable gold. This is abhorable. They should be denounced. It is utter foolishness.

Christian musicians should not join the musicians of the world to promote obscenity and filth simply because it sells. Our aim is not just to make money and earn a living but the promote the course of our God and His Christ. We must bear in mind that there are rewards and promotions for those who turn many to righteousness and win souls. The church should not import obscenity into the body of Christ by engaging secular stand up artists and comedians whose performances do not promote the core Judeochristian values of our faith, just because they make us laugh or the things they say or their performances are hilarious. The point is why should such things amuse believers? Is that the best and only way we can relieve tension? Has the word of God become of no effect to us? Is there no more balm in Gilead? Why is the health of my people not recovered?

“For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me. Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?”(Jere.8:21-22 , 46:11 KJV).

Rather we should raise and train our own standup artists. Christians should set up schools to train artists for the movie industry in Nigeria and beyond. The Church should set up schools to raise and train Christian standup artists who can then perform in our churches rather than inviting secular ones who will not respect our core Judeochristian values. Most standup artists promote obscenity and nudity in their shows and jokes. Most of their jokes are foulsome to the ears of the believer. Why should we listen to jokes that are unedifying to us. In the same vein, we should set up schools to raise and train Christian journalists who will man our media houses according to our core Christian values. Christian journalists should not report obscenity. So long as their audience is primarily the Christian community not other publics, the content of their reports must reflect our core Christian mores and values.

A lot of practices in our culture and tradition are demonically inspired. That is not to say that there is nothing good in our culture. There are things that are good in our cultures and traditions. Christian artists should not feature nor promote those wrong values unless as means to expose their ungodly nature and origin. Those values in our culture and traditions which are not inimical to our Christian goals and aspirations can be harnessed to promote the message of the gospel. This is referred to as contexualisation in missiology and missions. Christians artists and troupe can present the gospel using local modes of expression and memes to make it palatable to the people. Mike Bamiloye and Co have done a lot in this area. I also see some of these modes of expression in some Nollywood movies, especially those of Eastern origin in English.

Christian artists and musicians should be an inspiration to one another. There is a healthy competition here. Competitiveness is not always bad and cutthroat. It can bring the best out of us. Joseph Haiden was inspired to compose his masterpiece in classical music, “Creation” after listening to Friederich Handel’s “Messiah”. He did not believe that a mere mortal could compose such music. Rembrandt did the masterpiece “Bathshebah Bathing.” Though it was taken from the Bible, it portrayed nudity. The biblical scene out of which it was taken speaks of King David in his low moment. That should not be encouraged. However, it can be used to warn of the dangers of idleness, the vanity of beauty, and the vileness of sexual lust. William Shakespeare, the celebrated English playwright said:

“In nature, there is no blemish but the mind. None can called deformed but the unkind. Beauty is an empty tree trunk overflourished with the devil.”

This is in perfect synchrony with the words of the Scripture:

“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.”(Proverbs 31:30 KJV).

Biblical principles of life are life giving and eternal, the ways of the world lead only to death and eternal damnation.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Christian musicians in Nigeria, especially those who sang in English, were mere copycats. They took secular tunes and substituted the lyrics with Christian words and phrases. Today, the story is different. Our musicians create their own tunes and lyrics. We have come of age. This is commendable.

There are secular art works that promote slavery, racism, antisemitism, nudism, and scatology. Christian artists should create masterpieces that counter slavery, particularly child slavery, racism and antisemitism, nudism, cubism, surrealism, nihilism, child pornography, and scatoloy. Impressionistic arts should be pure and holy. Christian artists should counter cubism where it fouls our faith. There are websites that encourage depressed youths to shoot up schools, malls, and other public places, to commit mass murder and Sampsonic suicide. Some Christian websites should be set up to counter these sites that encourage nihilism. Christians should create media outfit purposely to counter pornography and nudism, nihilism and scatology.

Christian schools should be established for the performing arts. These schools need not be formal but clandestine. They need not seek accreditation from governmental accreditation bodies, considering the difficulties and exigencies of the end times. They should be there for the service of the Body of Christ and to counter the many voices of the secular media and art, and not to win Oscars and Grammy awards. We could go ahead and establish our own system of reward and recognition for exceptional performance and excellence. Yes, our upstarts in the performing arts need encouragement. They need sponsorship. They need to be encouraged and celebrated when they do well. However, our system of reward and celebrity values should not necessarily be patterned after the world’s system. Our art is different, and our goal is different; because our core values are different. Therefore, our system of reward, recognition and celebrity values must be different. As always the Glory of God is at the core, epicentre, and periphery. Our aim is to turn as many as possible to righteousness. As important and needful as monetary ward is, it not our goal. For the people of the world, this is the ultimate, but for us it is the side attraction. Therefore we cannot lose sight of our focus to pursue temporal, ephemeral and transient vanities.

Now we can compete. Now we have opportunity. But time comes when we cannot make a representation because anything with Christian worldview would be legislated out of the social media. We must do the works of Him who saved us while we were in sin: for when the night is come, the time of work will be done away. We must be ready to work for Him anytime, any day, and anywhere. He will reward us when He comes to take His bride away.

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”(‭‭John‬ ‭9:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

We are the light of the World. A city set on a high mountain cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel but on a stand that it may light to all that is in the house. We must let our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father who is in Heaven(Matt.5:14-16).

In the night, we would not have the license to perform at all. So, it is fitting that we make hay while the sun shines.
