Pretribs teach that the Day Of the Lord begins at the start of the 70th week of Daniel, and terminates with the end of the Millennium. But a closer examination of the scriptures reveal otherwise. This assumption by pretribs is based on a faulty theological system that presumes God does not deal with Israel and the Church at the same time. In this article, we are concerned with the terminus-a-quo of the Day Of The Lord, not its terminus-ad-quem. Although the Day Of The Lord does not include the Millennial reign of Christ inasmuch as it is darkness not light(Amos 5:18-20), the aim of this article is not primarily to disprove that it does as Pretribs teach. Classical or traditional dispensationalism teaches that in the 70th week of Daniel, God deals exclusively with Israel. Therefore, the Church must be on AWOL during the 70th week of Daniel. The Church is exempt from the wrath of God(1 Thess.1:10, 5:9), and the wrath of God begins in the Day Of the Lord which begins at the commencement of the 70th week of Daniel, then, the Church must be raptured, taken away from the scene of God’s wrath before it commences in the Day Of The Lord. But does the Day Of The Lord begin at the start of the 70th week of Daniel? We can know when the Day Of The Lord will begin by identifying biblical end time events that will precede it. The Scriptures tell us certain events must precede the Day Of The Lord. The timing of these events will assist us to locate the timing of the Day Of The Lord. In this short article, we shall examine what the Scriptures say about these events.
(1) The Coming Of Elijah
Elijah or more appropriately one like him, with his anointing, is one of the two witnesses. Their ministry begins at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel. We have shown in an earlier article, “the timing of the ministry of the two witnesses,”( link: https://mtzionheritage.com/the-timing-of-the-ministry-of-the-two-witnesses/), that the ministry of the two witnesses begins at the Gentile takeover of the rebuilt Third Temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem at the midpoint of the 70th of Daniel. A good number of Pretribs share this view.
“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.”(Rev.11:1-4).
Here the emphasis is neither on the person and identity of Elijah nor the characteristics of his ministry. What matters here is the timing. We have seen that he will minister for a short duration of three and one-half years. This period of time corresponds with the second half of the 70th week of Daniel. It is also the same time allotted to the antiChrist to reign. How do we know that? Because the goal of the ministry of the two witnesses is to warn Jews in the land of Israel not to worship the antiChrist, and the antiChrist does not demand to be worshipped as God till he is empowered by Satan at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel(Rev.13:2). The antiChrist will not be able to liquidate them until they have finished their ministry(Rev.11:7). Their ministry terminates with expiry of the 70th week of Daniel which corresponds more or less with expiry of the sixth trumpet judgment. And the antiChrist does not begin his Great Persecution of the saints till the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel when he relocates his headquarters to the rebuilt Jewish temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem and demands worship of all mortals(Dan.11:45; 2 Thess.2:4). It is also at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel that the three angelic announcements are made, that men should worship God only: warning of the imminent collapse of the banckrupt humanistic religion called Babylon, and the eternal wrath of God on those who take the Mark Of The Beast(Rev.14:6-13). The scripture makes it clear the the coming of Elijah occurs before the Great and Dreadful Day Of The Lord.
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”(Malachi 4:5-6).
The Day Of the Lord is Great and Dreadful. Elijah must appear before that Day in order to turn the hearts of the children to their fathers. If the coming of Elijah occurs at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel, how can the Day Of The Lord which is preceded by the ministry of Elijah begin at the commencement of the 70th week of Daniel, a considerable period of three and one-half years earlier? Even if the ministry of Elijah were to begin at the commencement of the 70th week of Daniel, in other words the coming of Elijah and his ministry occur in the first half of the 70th week of Daniel, and there are biblical scholars who hold this view, the Day Of the Lord cannot commence at the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel inasmuch as it is preceded by the coming of Elijah. For the Day Of the Lord to begin at the commencement of the 70th week of Daniel, the coming and ministry of Elijah must occur outside the 70th week of Daniel, i.e., during the later part of the Indeterminate Period before the commencement of the 70th week of Daniel. This is false inasmuch as it contradicts the teaching of the Scripture.
(2) The Great Tribulation: The Fourth And Fifth Seals
Majority of biblical scholars, inclusive of pretribs, are agreed that the Great Tribulation begins at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel at the breaking of the fourth seal of the big scroll of Revelation.
“And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”(Rev.6:7-8).
This is understandable, considering the fact that the antiChrist is unveiled at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel when Satan is cast down to the Earth from the starry heavens after his defeat by the archangel Michael during the war in the heavenlies that occurs at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel(Rev.12:7-9). It is at this point in the eschatological timeline that Satan possesses the antiChrist, gives him his seat and authority to act on his behalf(Rev.13:2). The antiChrist cannot institute the Great Tribulation until he is indwelt, anointed, and empowered by Satan at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel. The Scripture makes it clear that the Great Tribulation precedes the sign given in the Sun, Moon, and Stars. Biblical scholars call this sign the cosmic and celestial disturbances.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:”(Matt.24:29).
On the other hand, the fifth seal is a heavenly scene. It is concurrent with the fourth seal which is the Great Tribulation. The fourth and the fifth seals are the only two of the seven seals which are co-incident and simultaneous. The others are progressive and consecutive, so also are the trumpet and the Bowl judgments of the wrath of God.
“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”(Rev.6:9-11).
The fifth seal martyrs are killed under the fourth seal, their disembodied souls and spirits arriving in heaven as soon as they are martyred. Therefore, the fifth seal is a heavenly scene. It does not advance the chronology of the end time narrative. As soon as the fifth seal martyrs are killed under the fourth seal, the Great Tribulation, their disembodied souls and spirits arrive in Heaven almost immediately. They are quartered under the Golden Altar Of Incense in the Holy place of the temple of God in Heaven because the rapture has not yet occurred. If the rapture had occurred earlier before the commencement of the 70th week of Daniel, why are their souls still disembodied ? Why are they kept under the Golden altar in the Holy place of the temple of God in Heaven? Why not on the sea of glass in the Throne Room of the heavenly temple? They would have been embodied with their glorified eternal immortal resurrection bodies as soon as they were martyred. Would there be a second rapture? When would their souls be finally embodied with their glorified eternal immortal resurrection bodies? They have not yet received their glorified eternal immortal resurrection bodies. Hence, their being quartered under the Golden altar of incense in the Holy Place of the temple of God in Heaven. They demand that God punish their murderers on Earth. God asked them to patiently wait until their fellows brethren to be killed are also martyred. At this point, the martyrdom of the Saints is still going on here on Earth under the fourth seal. Meanwhile, they receive white robes signaling the righteousness of the saints. If the Day Of The Lord has already begone at the commencement of the 70th week as Pretribs teach, why are they calling for divine vengeance on their murderers? Are they mistaken? Why doesn’t God correct them? Has God forgetton that in the Day Of The Lord’s Wrath no man nor idol shall be exalted on the Earth but He only(Isa.2:10-22). It is a mockery of the Scriptures, a travesty and a parody of His Divine Majesty’s power, honour, and glory to teach that the antiChrist can arise in the Day Of The Lord, establish the largest Empire in history, gain worldwide dominion, and kill billions of those who repudiate his authority in the Day when God alone is to be exalted in the Earth. Is God at the mercy of Satan and his minion, the antiChrist? I wonder!
(3) The Cosmic Disturbances: The Sixth Seal
The sixth seal begins with a massive worldwide earthquake or a series of massive worldwide earthquakes and volcanic eruptions spewing larva and ash, blanketing the heavens.
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”(Rev.6:12-14).
The accompanying darkening of the Sun, Moon, and Stars referred to as cosmic and celestial disturbances is preceded by the Great Tribulation.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:”(Matt.24:29.
These cosmic phenomena will switch off the natural lights of the universe, throwing the Earth and the atmospheric and starry heavens into utter darkness and frigidity. This is a worldwide event and unmistakable. It is these heavenly phenomena that will make the antiChrist and his gang to halt their killing spree. This event amputates the Great Tribulation(Matt:24:22). At this point all the unrighteous wicked will become acutely aware of the impending wrath of God. They will flee to the rocks and mountains invoking these to fall on them and to hide them from the wrath of God.
“And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”(Rev.6:14-17).
The cosmic and celestial disturbance associated with the breaking of the sixth seal, is a game changer, a watershade and a divide. Once it occurs, even the unbelievers, atheists, and humanists who worship the Dragon, and the Beast, know immediately that the wrath of wrath is about to begin. They know the difference between the wrath of Satan perpetrated by man and the wrath of God which is God’s direct intervention in human affairs to rescue the just and punish the impenitent wicked. What has been going on before is not God’s wrath. They know they are responsible for the wars and commotions, Great Tribulation and the martyrdom of the saints. God is going to pay them back in their own coin, tribulation with tribulation, but REST is coming to the persecuted saints.
“Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.”(2 Thess.1:6-10).
This is one of two places in the whole of the Scriptures where the wrath of God is referred to as tribulation in relation to the unbelievers. The other place is Rom.2:9: “Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;”
They have troubled the saints, therefore God, the righteous judge of the universe will pay them back in their own coin, with trouble. The unrighteous wicked are wailing and mourning in anticipation of the Great and Terrible Day Of The Lord(Matt.24:30; Rev.1:7).
The prophet Joel states unequivocally that these cosmic phenomena shall precede the Great and terrible Day Of The The Lord.
“And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.”(Joel 2:30-31).
In the face of this clear teaching of the Scripture, how biblically justified is it for anyone to start the Day Of The Lord at the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel or before the Great Tribulation and the occurrence of the cosmic and celestial disturbances associated with the breaking of the sixth seal?
(4) The Appearance Of The Son Of Man In The Heavens: The Shekinah In The Heavens
The darkened and frozen state of the Earth shall be dispelled by the appearance of the Son Of Man in the heavens.
“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”(Matt.24:30).
The second coming begins with the appearance of the Son Of Man in the heavens. This is the sign of his coming. It occurs back-to-back with the sign of the end of the ages which is the darkening of the Sun, Moon, and Stars, the sixth seal which is also called cosmic and celestial disturbances. Here, Jesus answers the question posed to Him by His disciples in the Olivet Discourse, “what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the ages?”(Matt.24:3). There is only one sign, but it has two components. They occur in reverse order. The sign of the end of the ages occurs first darkening the Sun, Moon, and Stars. This is followed by the other half, the sign of His coming, the appearance of the Shekinah in the heavens. This is like a coin that has two sides, the obverse and the reverse. For a detailed treatment of “The Sign Of His Coming And Of The End Of The Ages,” see my article, “The Sign Of The End Of The Ages And Of His Coming.” Link: https://mtzionheritage.com/the-sign-of-the-end-of-the-ages-and-of-his-coming/.
The coming of the Lord is not secret, silent nor sudden. When the unrighteous wicked see the Son Of Man coming in the clouds of heaven, they will begin to wail and mourn(Matt.24:30; Rev.1:7). Why? Because He is about to punish them for their evils, and they are not able to stand His wrath(Rev.6:17).
Let us hear what evangelist Luke said about the coming of the Son Of Man.
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”(Luke 21:25-28).
Evangelist Luke gives us the same sequence of events as do Matthew and John, the apocalyptist. There will be the signs in the Sun, Moon, and Stars which are cosmic disturbances. The sea and the waves will be roiling and roaring. These cosmic phenomena will bring perplexity to those who had not put their faith in the God of Israel. Their hearts are failing because of fear of those things which are coming upon the Earth, that is the wrath of God in the Day Of The Lord which is overhanging, about o begin. The powers of the heavens shall be shaken. This chaotic confusion will be dispelled by the Son Of Man coming in the cloud of heaven with power and great glory. It is at this juncture that the saints shall be evacuated from the Earth at the end of the Great Tribulation and impending wrath of God in the Day Of The Lord. “When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Why are the saints instructed to look up at this time? Because they are about to be saved from the impending wrath of God by being evacuated from the Earth. The wrath of God in the Day Of The Lord is about to begin, and the believers are not appointed to the wrath of God. If all those “left behind“ had been martyred as “tribulation saints,” who are these that Christ instructs here to look up for their redemption draweth nigh? If the church have been raptured and those left behind are martyred in order to gain salvation, who are these looking up for their redemption. Pretribulationism has many unanswered questions. It is a theological fraud.
(5) The Sealing Of The 144,000
When Christ appears in the heavens, the first thing He does is to seal the 144,000 Jewish virgins with the seal of God in their foreheads to protect them from the impending wrath of God. This is not revealed to us in the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24,25, Mark 13, and Luke 21. In the Olivet Discourse, Christ was dealing with earthly events only. In the Scroll Of Revelation, He throws more light.
“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.”(Rev.7:1-8).
He tells us what is going on, not only on Earth, but in the Throne Room Of The Temple of God in heaven also. The Scroll Of Revelation is the only eschatological book that gives us these heavenly details. The wrath of God is about to begin. The Earth and its appurtenances shall be hurt. The saints must be evacuated from the Earth. But God will not leave Himself without a witness on Earth. He seals the 144,000 Jews for protection. The four angels who hold the fours corners of the Earth in order that no wind shall blow on the Earth were instructed by a superior angel to hold action until God’s servants have been sealed on their foreheads. These Jewish faithfuls must be sealed before the saints are evacuated from the Earth in order that there is be no spiritual vacuum or lack of God’s representation on Earth.
(6) The Prewrath Rapture Of The Saints
Any moment from then, the wrath of God will begin to be poured out on the Earth. Therefore the saints of the Most High must be evacuated from the Earth. From His station in the sky, enshrouded in Shekinah Glory, Our Lord Jesus dispatches His angels with the sound of a great trumpet to gather His elect saints from one end of the heavens to the other. This is the prewrath rapture of the saints.
“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”(Matt.24:31).
This verse of Scripture is in consonance with and corroborates the other two classical passages of the Scriptures that speak of the rapture(1 Thess.4:13-18; 1 Cor.15:50-52). But the Pretribs have turned it into Armageddon in order to justify their Pretribulational rapture of the saints. How can any reasonable person who understands the meaning of words make Armageddon out of this verse of the scriptures? How can Armageddon which is the last event in the execution of God’s wrath predate the wrath of God itself? The wrath of God begins at the breaking of the seventh seal, and consists of the seven trumpets and seven bowls. The seventh seal has not yet been broken. We are at the interlude between the end of the sixth seal and the breaking of the seventh seal. Following the sequence of events in the Scroll Of Revelation, once the saints are evacuated from the Earth, the scene of God’s wrath, and then, the seventh seal is broken, and the wrath of God begins in the Day Of The Lord.
The sixth seal heralds the cosmic and celestial disturbances and the wailing of the unrighteous wicked(Rev.6:12-17). In Rev.8:1, the seventh seal is broken, and the wrath of God in the the Day Of The Lord begins. Between Rev.6:18 and Rev.8:1 is Rev.7. This is the interlude between the end of the sixth seal and the breaking of the seventh. In Rev.7, the 144,000 Jewish faithfuls are first sealed(1-8) and subsequently, the saints are raptured(9-17). The innumerable multitude from all tribes, nations and tongues are none other than the raptured saints. This is the prewrath rapture of the saints. They are evacuated from the Earth and then, the wrath of God begins in Rev.8:1 at the breaking of the seventh seal.
But again, the Pretribs in order to justify their pretrib rapture theory which has no biblical bases have turned them all into martyrs. They label them those “left behind” who became “tribulation saints” by being martyred, all of them. There is no biblical evidence whatsoever that this innumerable multitude were all martyrs. Some of them may, and are indeed martyred. The Scriptures do not in so many words state that they are martyred. How they all came to the faith after the faithful saints are taken to heaven in pretrib rapture, they have produced no convincing proofs, and how they all came to be martyred in so short a time as well, they have also produced no proofs, and the Scriptures are silent. If the rapture occurs before the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel, no believer will be left on Earth during the whole of the 70th week of Daniel, because what follows the rapture is the wrath of God, and no believer is appointed unto wrath.
We have seen from the Scriptures that the Day Of The Lord immediately follows the rapture. If the Day Of The Lord occurs after the sign given in the Sun, Moon, and Stars, the rapture which immediately precedes the Day Of The Lord cannot occur before the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel.
(7) The Breaking Of The Seventh Seal
The very same day the saints are evacuated from the Earth in the rapture, the seventh seal is broken, and the wrath of God begins.
“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.”(Rev.8:1-6).
The believers are not appointed to wrath but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus the Christ(1 Thess.1:10, 5:9). Therefore, no true believer will be on Earth during the Day Of The Lord. Any believer found on Earth during the Day Of The Lord is a false believer. To teach that some believers who missed the first round up shall be left behind here on Earth only to obtain salvation by martyrdom has no biblical support. From the breaking of the sixth seal, the sign given in the Sun, Moon, and Stars, the antiChrist is in a position of weakness. The EMP waves from the cosmic and celestial disturbances have deactivated most of his machinery of war. His commanders are on the run for their dear lives from the impending wrath of God, hiding under the rocks and the mountains( Rev.6:15-17). And who shall be able to stand? It will take sometime before he recovers. He can no longer continue his killing spree. Apart from the two witnesses he kills at the expiry of their ministry at the end of the 70th week of Daniel, he can no longer continue to hunt nonconformists to his regime and reign of terror for massacre.
What gives him the leverage to get rid of the two witnesses is the withdrawal of the anointing of God on them at the expiry of their ministry and the proximity of the location of their ministry to the vicinity of the Temple Mount, his international and tactical headquarters. While he remains ensconced at his headquarters on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, most of his acolytes are on the run from fear of the wrath of God and the glory of His Majesty(Isa.2:19-21). Under the wrath of God, all he can do is to muster his forces for total annihilation at Armageddon(Rev.19:17-21). To teach also that the Day Of The Lord begins at the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel is biblically unfounded; for the wrath of God in the Day Of The Lord does not begin until the breaking of the seventh seal. And this event occurs way into the second half of the 70th week of Daniel, after the Great Tribulation, after the cosmic and celestial disturbances that interrupt the Great Tribulation, after the sign given in the Sun, Moon, and Stars, after the appearance of the Son Of Man in the Heavens, after the sealing of the 144,000 Jewish faithfuls, and after the evacuation of the saints in the rapture.
(8) The Beginning Of Sorrows: The First Three Seals
If the coming of Elijah, the Great Tribulation which begins at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel, the attendant cosmic and celestial disturbances which amputate the Great Tribulation(Matt.24:22), the appearance of the Shekinah in the Heavens, the sealing of the 144,000 Jewish faithfuls, and the rapture of the saints, all of which occur in the second half of the 70th week of Daniel, precede the Day Of The Lord, it therefore follows that the first three seals which precede these events and occur in the first half of the 70th week of Daniel must also precede the Day Of The Lord. Therefore, it logically follows that the Day Of The Lord cannot begin at the commencement of the 70th week of Daniel. It cannot even begin at the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel. It is regrettable that contrary to all these overwhelming biblical evidence, pretrib scholars start the Day Of The Lord at the commencement of the 70th week of Daniel.
